5 /5 Swati Singh: Been here twice. Great gem to learn the history of Angels Camp and the gold rush era. The transportation tour guid is amazing. $10 pp for a family of 4. Must visit.

5 /5 Jennifer Weidenfeller: We visited on a HOT day in July. We stopped in to do some gold panning and see some California history. We went to the front to buy tickets and were told only two of the buildings were opened due to the the other not having AC. The entry was discounted and the still let us gold pan as they were suckers for a cute 9 year old with his heart set on it. We gold panned, saw the most amazing collection of covered wagons I have ever seen, and the boys toured the medicine room, but I skipped that one. The best part was the hostess. She wandered around, but always came back to tell you some facts about the wagon or gold panning. Loved this. We will be back to see the last room.

5 /5 Jeannie Woo: FANTASTIC museum that covers all walks of life from settlement to the 1950s-- not just the gold rush era. Full of artifacts spanning generations, donated by local families. If you have an older elementary school child, ask about the scavenger hunt. Its the perfect difficulty and engagement level - really well thought out and designed. But the true strength of the museum are the docents. So knowledgeable, full of interesting facts. If you go when its slow, you get a de facto private tour. Worth the price of admission. Dont skip it.

5 /5 Brian Preston: Angels Camp Museum is a wonderful place to stop and wander around. Plenty of rare artifacts from our states past. Multiple buildings and plenty of parking. Restrooms and shade trees here too.

4 /5 Jason Williams: It was a well kept place with a lot of property. We toured the main building for free. They have a lot more property to explore with old buildings and things but didnt get chance to look at it. It costs $15 per person so we elected to not do it.
