2017: My daughter and I have been coming to Debbie for over 6 years, and well keep coming! Clean salon, no issues with street parking in Japantown. Prices are very reasonable, which has allowed me and my daughter flexibility to experiment -- natural colors for me, and vibrant primary colors for my 13 yr old. Shes always open to feedback, and works hard to meet our expectations. Weve both had long hair, and very short styles. Atmosphere is professional, but casual; not pretentious. They have complete lines of products for purchase, and theres a nail station now, as well (I havent tried the nail tech, so I dont know about those services or prices). Generally things run on schedule -- of course any salon can back up when clients are late, so if youre in a hurry, let her know at the start of your appt -- Ive always been accommodated as requested. I always set my next appt before leaving, so Im not sure how far in advance you should book. If I have a want-it-now need (or more likely my daughter) she can generally take me the same week. Love Debbie, love the other ladies, too, as they can tag team if were in a hurry!
