5 /5 Katy: Alex is a lovely person and did a great job cutting my hair. I have long wavy hair and not every stylist can get the layering right. Alex was kind, careful and attentive, asking specific questions about how much I wanted trimmed, and how much layering to add. I also asked her for some product recommendations since my hair can be dry and she gave me some helpful suggestions. This photo is from the next day after my haircut, after a rinse and conditioning to refresh it.

S Carroll: This is a really unfortunate review. I enjoyed Berthas company, and she was a kind person. Shes the salon owner and an experienced stylist. Unfortunately, the cut I got was not at all the cut I asked for. I asked for layers all around, but strangely, only the sides were layered. Unfortunately, the back of the hair isnt even. Ill need to go get a corrective cut somewhere else. This was a disappointing service and just not the cut I asked for at all. Updating this review. 2/19- After three calls to the salon and no reply, after posting this review for a month, finally a reply in writing offering corrective service. I already got a corrective cut and the new stylist at another salon was shocked at this poor work. "its uneven and looks rushed". Really bad form for a salon owner to not take responsibility for poor quality work when given the chance. If you have long hair and want to keep long hair keep looking for another salon.

Amanda Joseph: Hands down the best experience I’ve had in a black hair, or any hair, salon. I say black hair because we ALL know the rundown when you book an appt for a press and there’s 2 people in front of you, and 2 people behind you- and two getting done while you are! Not strut! I had my OWN time slot BOTH times I visited. Once I got the curly girl deva cut by Carmen and next time I got a cut and press by Antoinette. I could go on and on, the shop is clean and intimate, and they give you a CLEAN robe to put on, they offer water... etc. i also received a hair consultation both times, and I could tell that both women are very knowledgeable about hair, true students of their craft. I am just really impressed! Highly recommend this place.

The salon is beautifully designed, and the owner, Charlotte, was incredibly welcoming. I appreciated that the service prices were clearly displayed, along with QR codes for easy payment. The other stylists and staff members were also very friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. I feel like Ive finally found my go-to salon. Charlotte offered valuable suggestions for addressing some hair loss Im experiencing, and I left feeling optimistic. Ive already scheduled my next appointment for this year.
