5 /5 TJ O: Sherman is one of the best family doctors I’ve ever had. He is incredibly compassionate and listens. He has a capacity to bring lots of information together and help you find the best course of treatment. It’s not a big office or a fancy place, but that’s where you can’t judge a book by its cover. He has a great office staff and their genuine care and concern for your well-being is felt. I first met him through my mom when we moved here for what we thought was a short time to take care of her. After we decided to move here long-term and get insurance for this state, he wasn’t under my plan. I decided to stay with him and pay separate because I trust him more than any other doctor, and I have seen a lot of doctors. He absolutely goes above and beyond for his patients. He has truly made my life better.

2 /5 Daniel: Dr. Sherman is a great doctor who takes good consideration for his patients but good god reception can’t pickup the phone to save a life (no pun intended). Two days of calling to get a follow up after an urgent care visit due to a lung infection and all they do is let the phone ring out. No professionalism from reception to even pickup and say their busy or some kind of excuse.

5 /5 B Young: I moved to Ventura county so I could get better medical care. My first primary care physician I found was Dr Sherman Adam. I could not be more happy. His staff is excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We discussed my medications I was taking and made a couple of changes. I have not felt this good in years. Dr Adams has set me up with specialists that have also done a great job. Could not be more happy.

5 /5 NinjaBard Pheonix: Staff are helpful and easygoing. Dr. Sherman is a compassionate and thoughtful Doctor. Asking questions, accurate self reporting, and willing to discuss/debate your healthcare with Dr. Sherman will help you the most. When trying a new regimen, remember to journal or keep notes about any changes, so the both of you can be more accurately informed if any changes are needed. Dr. Sherman is easygoing, understanding, very patient, so if you have anxiety, or any type of social phobias, you will warm up to him and his staff fairly quickly. The staff and doctor will work at your pace, until you are so comfortable with them that your joking around with them, or sharing something with the doctor you would normally not share, but because of the trust that you both put on each other, you do. Oh, and if your looking for a script doctor/doctor that hands out pills like candy, this isnt the place for that. Ive seen patients that want w/e pill get frustrated fairly quick when the doctor wants to try other methods of pain management, before moving on to prescribed medications.

5 /5 C F: Doctor Sherman is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. I say this both as a patient and in general, working in the healthcare field and for one of the most prestigious hospitals on the west coast I can say you wont find a better one out there. I would go out of network and gladly drive the distance from UCLA when I was seeing him years ago for this reason. Anyone who says differently is just upset they didnt get exactly what they wanted or is just completely lying and have never actually been a patient in the first place. So you cant believe everything you read on google or some reviews. I can assure you claims of negative experiences or accusations are made by people who are not current or past actual patients and have a hidden agenda of some sort.Thank you for your care in the past and I hope to get an appointment very soon to see you again. Also his staff are great at what they do too.
