5 /5 Alexx Pryjma: I wanted to find a local salon and A Secret Place was recommended to me by an acquaintance. My initial phone call to the salon was very informative. Jade did my hair and she put me at ease by taking her time to ask questions and talk me through potential cuts and color. I cant think of a stylist who has taken that much time to make sure I was comfortable. Im so happy with the results! Jade also put extra effort in to explain how to style the new cut and to recommend products to me. I had a fabulous experience at A Secret Place!

5 /5 Des Espanta: I stayed at Ventura for a year and had the pleasure of working with Faith Ontiveros for my waxing needs. The wax she uses is gentle and didn’t elicit any reaction from my skin at all (which it did with other places)! She’s kind, professional, and accommodating to my busy schedule. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Her place is calm, clean, and serene. If you’ve been to a lot of different waxing places and need a regular person—this is it. Highly recommend!

1 /5 Christine Kasting: Although Alison did a good job on my hair, she clearly likes to do your hair her on her terms. No interest in my input. In addition, She misrepresented herself when I made my next appointment. First she had lots of availability, then none….very strange. It took her a week to respond to me with her new unavailability with various excuses. Very rude. In retrospect, we are not a good fit. Professionally she should have told the truth.( whatever that was?) Things happen for a reason. It was a stressful 2 weeks, but I have various options thank God to chose another stylist,

5 /5 Maribel: Ok so they moved right across the street when I lived in Ventura I used to always go here and see sierra and Jasmin to do my hair, Courtney the receptionist is so sweet and wonderful I love her energy!! I miss coming here but will definitely come back if I need something. I would highly recommend coming here for you hair needs or nails.
