Excellent workout when you are not looking to work out. The steps are as steep as they look, but well worth it when you get up to Coit Tower and Pioneer Park. We walked up the steps, but took the bus down.
Haggin Museum - Stockton Craig Campbell: A very enjoyable 90 minutes. They have quite a variety of exhibits, including some interesting old steam engines for fighting fires.
The entrance fee is very reasonable and the staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable.
Louis Park - Stockton Luis Galindo: Really nice place to take your family. Especially little ones. The splash pad is just the right size. Dont forget to take the train ride for beautiful views along the way q
Wat Dhammararam Buddhist Temple - Stockton Craig Campbell: What an interesting place to visit. It was super quiet and tranquil on Sunday morning. It helped that I was the only person there!
Many of the plaques by each statue are bleached by the sun, and they really just tell you who is the owner(donor?) of each.
Google translate camera did a pretty good job of helping with translating the signs.
There is parking inside the gate so you dont have to use the street.
Stockton Water Tower - Stockton Ben Nicholson: Biggest water tower Ive seen. Great place most exiting place in Stockton sadly it was too hot to get a closer look at it
Childrens Museum of Stockton - Stockton JB: I brought my toddler here and was so pleasantly surprised by how much there is to do! After two hours she was still busy and there was still lots more to do. Both times I was there they had a worker actively rotating through the sections cleaning up. Everyone here is friendly and it is clean! Definitely check it out, theres lots to do for all ages
Miracle Mile - Stockton Eric Johnson: One of my favorite spots in Stockton. Tons of shopping, great restaurants and a few good coffee shops down here. Something for everyone here. All within walking distance from each other. So much to offer, check it out.
Valverde Park - Stockton Mohsen Khan: Cool park in the middle of north stockton.
