Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church - San Luis Obispo Andy Carlin: Outstanding! Very warm, welcoming, great music and Frs. Jim and Matt deliver fresh and meaningful messages. Spot on every time! Messages resonate well and really sink in. No Fluff here! Its to the point and sneaks up on you as you listen, reflect on the message. Diverse musical instruments and great vocals take the whole experience up several notches! Look forward to attending every Sunday!!!
SLO Naz Church - San Luis Obispo Monica Cadena: Ive moved around a bit so Ive experienced a few different Churches in my life but when I think of a time I really needed support through a difficult time in my life SLO Naz was there, most churches preach the gospel but many dont live it, this church lives it! I felt the love of Christ and think of their pure kindness often.
Local Church - San Luis Obispo Brooke Vice: I am really happy to say I have been going to Local Church for almost eight years. In that time, I’ve had a lot of big life changes, and I’m really grateful to have had the people at Local be a part of my life through it all. When I first started looking for churches, I definitely wasn’t expecting to be as involved as I have become at Local, but I am really grateful for it.
As the years have gone on, I’m becoming increasingly convinced that the pastors and leaders and members of this church are all looking to do the best they can for people and to bring Jesus to people. Its actually been pretty amazing to see so many people wanting to do SOMETHING for Jesus by sharing his message and engaging in discipleship. It has inspired me to be a better me, and to have a deeper relationship with God. Since going here, the church has also started a second church in Santa Maria, which is such a great example of the heart that this church carries for people and their community.
Definitely recommend coming to this church and getting to know some of the people here, I’m glad I did.
