5 /5 thea fernandez: My father, sister and I visited this restaurant on a whim for what was supposed to be a quick lunch, but it ended up being the meal of a lifetime! On entering we were immediately greeted and placed at a table, there was plenty of seating space available. We were given complimentary tortilla chips and fresh salsa to snack while choosing our order. The host, Ricardo, was extremely friendly, easy-going and patient. He was very sweet and even gave us each a bowl of complimentary lentil soup, truly a wonderful treat. We ended up ordering the Kesabirria Tacos, Huevos Rancheros and one of the house specials, the Zarandeado Fish. The dishes were delicious, fresh and filling, and absolutely worth the price. Each dish came with some amount of Mexican rice and beans, and there was much food to go around between the three of us. My personal favourite was the Kesabirria tacos, with the slow cooked Argentinian beef that was bursting with flavour. The restaurant was clean, had ambient lighting, comfortable seating, great music and it was decorated with unique and colourful cultural artworks. Also, although we didn’t take advantage of it, there is also a bar available, with an extensive drinks menu. As a college student who is new to the area, I’m glad to have found such a wonderful and authentic Mexican place in the vicinity, and I’m definitely going to come back here with my friends sometime soon. Thank you so much Ricardo!
