4 /5 Ageless Adventurer: We came here for a birthday celebration with a group of six and overall had a really good experience.
To start with drinks: I ordered the special olive oil–washed Dirty Martini. It was definitely interesting, but not something I’d order again. Give me a regular Dirty any day! Another person had the Manhattan and really enjoyed it. The Espresso martinis were yummy. One small note, drink sizes seem to be shrinking and prices growing.
Didn’t get photos of all the food (my bad), but for appetizers we tried a few things. The arancini were good, the meatballs were also good, but the burrata and prosciutto was pretty meh. They brought two giant slices of toasted crusty bread, which were tasty, but for a table of six it wasn’t nearly enough. We ordered bread for the table and it never came.
Both salad options, the Caesar and the butter lettuce/endive were excellent.
For entrées, the pork chop was highly regarded by two people in our party. I had the lemon Bucatini and it was outstanding. The rigatoni with sausage was a crowd favorite; we all had a bite and it definitely lived up to the hype. The mahi-mahi was also very good, with a really interesting sauce.
For dessert, we shared the olive oil cake, and a few other things, all good. Some people loved the cake, others weren’t that excited about it. For the birthday they brought out meringue-style cookies for the birthday girl, which were just so-so.
Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal and thought the food was very good. A solid spot, especially for the pasta!
We sat at a large table near the bar. I think the other regular dining area they offer might be better, it was not comfortable which is why I rated it a 4 for atmosphere.
