2 /5 Dennis Quigley: Had not been to this restaurant for many years. There were 8 of us. Service started out well. We had 2 bread baskets and the calamari tentacles. Bread was very good. Calamari not so much but OK. I had the Calamari Livornese. Entrees were delivered efficiently and in a timely manner. Once we had all received our dishes, however, service ended. Asked the waitress two times or water as did my son in law to no avail. Four of us ordered sambucca up with coffees. One decaf was delivered fairly quickly. The other three were ignored despite our polite reordering. Exasperating! My meal was underdone, vegetables raw and little flavor and some unidentifiable substance ( perhaps bread with cheese and marinara sauce ). Clam chowder was delicious. I will not return to this establishment.

4 /5 Rose Stewart: I have been to this restaurant before but its been a long time since Ive been back. The food is always really good. The service with our waitress was okay. She was a little bit dry and not very friendly when I asked for something in the menu it was like yes Etc not into details. She opened up a little bit more at the end. Its a very pretty restaurant the outside seating is pretty too so is the inside of the restaurant. The desserts are to die for. We came to have lunch. The only thing appetizer there were only three choices for appetizers. They should have more choices for appetizers.

1 /5 Hayden Alt: Honestly would want to give it a zero if I could. First off I do understand I made my reservation for an hour before they close but it’s not my fault that you guys are open and you are scheduled to work that day. I made reservations for my anniversary dinner with my wife at 8 Pm and when we got there it took about 10 minutes for anyone to even come to the front to greet us. No host it was a server passing by taking care of his table. Finally get sat and wait about another 5-10 minutes for anyone to come with water or tell us about the menu or anything. When the server gets there we just feel so rushed because first thing he asks is are we ready to order ?? No suggestions from the menu , no hello how are you guys are we celebrating anything? No specials for the day NOTHING. Cool he’s probably just mad we came in an HOUR before they close and he’s going to have to work the shift he was scheduled , SORRY. Dinner concludes and they still haven’t even brought up how it’s an Anniversary dinner like what was the point of the reservation asking the occasion if this place doesn’t do anything special or can’t even say happy anniversary lol. Anyways terrible experience , ruined the anniversary dinner I had planned for my wife and left a sour taste in our mouth as visitors to modesto. Should have listened to the reviews that said they aren’t very welcoming to first timers , only to regulars lol ! 0/10 Would never return ! All of this and I didn’t even mention they overcooked both of our steaks , yes we prefer a little more than medium because we asked for between medium and medium well but that is different than WELL DONE , completely brown when we cut into them , SMH

5 /5 K. W.: This place has consistently good food paired perfectly with their wine menu. My only issue is that there is NOTHING currently in the restaurant to dampen the noise levels, which makes it extremely hard to hear and follow a conversation. They used to have curtains but I dont know where they went. We were seated near the patio door which had a cold draft coming through to the kitchen even though the doors were closed. If/when they figure out the acoustics and the air draft issue, it will be perfect dining experience once again.
