1 /5 Bucky 1: New Years Eve, 2025. Wife and I ordered Pete’s for our New Years Eve dinner. It was a picked up order. Once at restaurant, atmosphere inside was quiet, not many people inside. So I felt I didn’t have to check what was in the bag to ensure order was correct. The hostess I felt did not understand English very well as she seemed confused as to what I was saying. I said to her, “I am here to pick up an order.” Her reply was, “how many?” And began to grab utensils and menus to lead me to a table. I said “no I’m here to pick up an online order.” She says “ok” like I had made her upset. So this is where I believe care was not taken on the restaurants part to ensure my order was correct as it seems when I’m trying to make sure they understand what I am saying with happy demeanor, I get crappy customer service, and my order is incorrect. Once she comes back with my order from the back, long enough time to ensure it’s correct I thought, she hands it to me and says “bye”. I of course say “thank you so much” as it’s New Year’s Eve and trying to have a good night. When I get home, the order is way off. My burger was overdone when I asked for medium rare. My wife’s burger was also drowning in BBQ sauce when it was supposed to have the Brewhouse sauce. It was on my mushroom burger which never has brewhouse sauce on it. The calamari did not have the slaw and veggies as it normally comes with nor the sauce it’s supposed to come with. We did not get our sauces we had asked for in addition to what we had requested. Definitely ruined our night for sure. Their offer was for us to come back to Pete’s to pick up the sauces but by that time our food would be cold. We spent almost $70 dollars to have good food, but we could have paid half and had our order correct and went to a local Mexican restaurant, and been better satisfied with quality and customer service.
For future, I will be avoiding this place like the plague. Even when I dine in, my order is incorrect and I’m waiting for my drink to come out like they don’t do free refills on sodas.
