4 /5 Daniel Aguilar: The food was very good. The way they cook their meats, stews, and even the potatoes has flavors that feel somewhat familiar to Latin American cooking, which made the dishes easy to enjoy. Nothing extremely out of the ordinary, but definitely a pleasant experience and a great way to try something different. The ambience was very nice — warm, relaxed, and with a comfortable atmosphere. The decoration throughout the restaurant added to the experience. The service was normal. Nothing bad, nothing exceptional, just straightforward and efficient. Overall, a good place to try new flavors and enjoy a different style of cuisine.

5 /5 Asif Khan: I loved the food. This was my first time trying Eritrean food which is not surprising since the county is only two years older than I am. The food is very similar to Ethiopian food which is to be expected but I definitely detected nuances in the flavor profile that were distinct. However, I dont think I could verifiably state those differences. I was expecting a more spartan atmosphere but the design inside the restaurant was modern. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was praiseworthy. The price isnt too bad for being steps away from Golden Gate Park.

5 /5 David: They offer numerous vegetable and meat options. Enjoyed everything we had--cooked well with distinctive spices. Was all very tasty. The waitstaff was very friendly.

4 /5 Nishtha Choudhary: Tried a new ethiopian restaurant after really long time. Food was great! We got the vegetarian platters for two with the chicken. We also got the mixed veg sambusa. I think the lentil sambusa would have been a better choice. Service was a little slow but they seemed a little understaffed at the time on a Friday night. I was not expecting the restaurant to be as large as it was.

2 /5 Wolf Fivousix: This is my first time eating Ethiopian food, and I wasnt impressed. Got what seemed to be the most popular dish, which is basically some bread with dips. Maybe this is an acquired taste? Service was almost inexistent, as well as silverware. When the waitress finally brought some, at the end of my meal, after I had requested twice before, felt more like a sarcastic joke than compliance to a customer request. Should I have gotten up and asked for a manager? Maybe, but I also dont go out to cause trouble. Especially when I am hungry. Definitely overpriced for what you are getting.
