4 /5 Youlonda V.: Monterey Cookhouse was a recommendation by a local. The decor and atmosphere were nice. The staff were also nice. We ordered the smoked sampler and lobster ravioli. The lobster ravioli was really good. On the sampler, the brisket was tender but not cooked like a Texas brisket with the charred layer on the outside of the meat. The pull pork slider was the best on the plate. The ribs were well cooked and tender but did not have enough flavor which may be ok for some. The food is a bit pricey but it is a nice place for date night.
