5 /5 tommy balli: In town on business we stopped by Margies Diner(my first time here) for breakfast. Once again, a down home establishment in the central coast earns high marks from this foodie! Give them a try...great food, wonderful service in a family friendly atmosphere.

3 /5 SM: This was supposed to be a 5/5 stars review, but need to knock it down—see update below. Original: No question about it, would come again. I was in the mood for a diner style restaurant while passing through Paso Robles. This was a highly rated spot and I wanted to give it a try. It is hard to explain, but the food tasted “real” and of a high quality. It was very delicious. I got the avocado, mushroom, and cheese omelette; tasty and filling. My friend got the chili verde omelette with beans on the side and that looked incredible. It was great food that hit the spot. Update: I left a generous tip in the 20%-25% range. When the final charge was posted to my credit card, it appears they helped themselves to an extra dollar…. No where was it mentioned there was a credit card fee or any sort of fees. So not sure why they added an extra dollar. I want to believe it was purely an accident without bad intentions, but this is the first time this has ever happened and it does not leave a good taste in my mouth.

5 /5 Bethany Patrick: Absolutely best breakfast in town. They were pretty busy when we arrived but still got seated instantly. Food came out within minutes of ordering and was outstanding. Highly recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice!!

5 /5 alyona kudrenko: Great diner with an old-school American vibe, just like in the movies. Excellent service and delicious food! The pancakes were fluffy and buttery, the steak sandwich was hearty, and the fresh juice and tasty mimosas were a highlight. Definitely a must-try!
