1 /5 Nancy Z: We have been wanting to try this place for years!
We’ve been wanting to try Cazuelas Terraza in Palm Springs for years—every time we’d pass by, there were crowds and live music, so we figured the food must be good. We finally went on Sunday night, and honestly, it was one of the worst dining mistakes we’ve made.
I’ll give credit where it’s due: the restaurant has a nice aesthetic. If you’re looking for atmosphere and maybe an overpriced drink, it might be worth it. But food-wise? Absolutely not. Out of the 8 people in our group, not one of us finished our meal—the food was that bad. The flavors were either bland or just off, and to make matters worse, our waitress even admitted, “we really aren’t that Mexican of a restaurant.”
The service wasn’t great either, which added to the disappointment. At best, this is a place to sit outside, listen to the live music, and maybe snack on chips and salsa. But if you’re actually looking for a good meal, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We left super disappointed.
