Bongo Johnnys Patio Bar & Grill - Palm Springs (CA)

5 /5 Tom Lang: We stopped for brunch on a busy Sunday. The place was bustling but the service was prompt and friendly. My wife ordered a screwdriver and I had a Bloody Mary. It was nicely garnished with pickle, olive, cocktail onion, hot pepper, and a strip of crispy bacon. Very nice. I had a Big Wet Breakfast Burrito. It was a good sized burrito with chorizo covered with a tangy red sauce. Great. My wife had Huevos Mexicanos. She thought it spent too much time under the broiler, but it was OK. Overall a good experience.

1 /5 Stacy Gallegos: I haven’t been to Bongo Johnny’s in years so I figured I’d go today. Well the service wasn’t good and the food not any better. It’s a Monday and holidays ended 2 weeks ago. It’s slow. Our server was nice but forgot our beverage we ordered. Then my burger was made with an ingredient that I had asked not to have. On top of that my burger had a white string of something and a hair. I’m assuming the manager came to address the issue. He didn’t introduce himself but assured me his cooks on the line all have hair nets. He shared he didn’t see anything wrong with my burger but would take it off the bill. I’m so disappointed because I remember the food, service and atmosphere being great. This place really went down hill and it looks like it could benefit from a renovation and face lift.

5 /5 Jayden Wysynski: Food was great and our server Leo was wonderful and prompt with helping us. Despite being busy, getting seated and checked on was fast. Food was good with the red sauce on the sirloin being fantastic.

5 /5 Patti Scanlon: High above Palm Canyon we had a late lunch. Very good drinks. The burgers were juicy and superior. Huge portions. The staff and owner made us feel like family. 2 patios.
