3 /5 Travel diaries: Food is a 4 because overall good and tastes original. But if you know the food from the region, then nothing special. Food is plenty and cheap though. Bread is self baked. The place itself kind of weird. Was completely empty when we ate there. No customers whatsoever. Staff was nice but one person doing all of it so accordingly things took long. TLDR good food. affordable price. If you’re hungry. Would not recommend for the atmosphere.

1 /5 Jemaa Jemaa: I was really disappointed with my experience at Ghazni Afghani Restaurant. The kafta (meatball) I ordered was clearly not fresh — it tasted old, undercooked, and extremely chewy. It was hard to eat and definitely not what you’d expect from a place serving traditional Afghan food. Freshness and proper preparation should be the basics of any restaurant, and unfortunately this dish failed on both. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of their food, because customers deserve better.

1 /5 Marwah K: DO NOT ORDER CATERING FROM THIS RETAURANT!!! THIS ESTABLISHMENT SERVES RAW FOOD!!!! I paid $550 for a catering order for 3 dishes: shami kabob, chicken kabob, and qabuli palaw. The meats for the kabobs were both undercooked and squishy, but the shami kabob was literally RAW. Absolutely unacceptable on all grounds, but especially for the amount that I paid. Not to mention the owner/manager is one of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to. My event would have been ruined if I wouldn’t have made other food myself to serve to my guests. I had multiple people showing me the meat was raw and telling me I should contact the owner for some sort of compensation. We were throwing up and sick to our stomachs the next morning!! I contacted the restaurant the morning after the event and he told me that it wasn’t his fault and that he served me “fresh food”. Excuse me sir, I didn’t know fresh food meant I was going to be served RAW MEAT. He refused to compensate us in any way and kept denying that it was RAW. He said that he the meat was just more lean and that’s why it appeared red or pink. As you can tell by the photos below, the meat was not cooked properly at all. Instead of apologizing and offering some sort of compensation , they denied everything and blocked my phone number. I am extremely disappointed with his lack of professionalism and I did not expect this behavior from a fellow Afghan. I will be reporting this establishment to the local Food Safety Department and they can take it up with them since they want to block my number.

5 /5 Ishmael Ayesh: Better than ever. I’ve been eating here for a while. I gotta say they gotten much better. Don’t get me wrong the food was decent but this time it’s on point. The kabobs were perfect and flavorful. I got the double combo kabobs plate, Mantu, and Bolani. All were super delicious. The service was excellent, the atmosphere is quiet. Perfect enough to just eat and enjoy your meal.

However, when I arrived at the restaurant, the experience was very disappointing. The staff were rude, and the cashier even argued with me and asked unnecessary personal questions. The food was not good either. Honestly, I wouldn’t waste my time here. I would rather go to McDonald’s than return to this place. I no longer recommend this restaurant, so please avoid going there.
