Fratm Pizzeria - San Rafael (CA)

5 /5 Richard Berkson: Excellent service, friendly and professional. Comfortable and well lit without a lot of loud music. Little gem salad was great, with real anchovies. We had the fungo (mushroom) pizza plus salami - the dough was fresh, chewy and delicious (goat cheese) and the sauce had a little hot spice. Couldn’t help ordering the chocolate cake since all the other food was good. We weren’t disappointed. A glass of Chianti was also excellent.

5 /5 David Karvasales: I was skeptical about another Italian restaurant opening up in San Rafael. They seem to be the only ones that ever make it in Marin, but I thought it might be a little to others. Unfortunately for other pizzerias around, and fortunately for them - these guys are the real deal. We had the Beets and Brussel Sprouts for apps, and a Margarita and the FRATM (namesake pizza) for pies, they were both absolutely insane and certainly the best pizzas I’ve ever had in marin. The space is clean, cosy, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff are kind as can be. Prices are great too. This is gonna be a marin gem for a while once discovered.

5 /5 Chris Backer: Still in their soft opening phase but it was a great experience nonetheless! I was excited to try their wood fired pizzas and they did not disappoint. I did the Buffalina Margarita pizza and the Jalapeño. Both were spectacular. Bravo and looking forward to coming back!
