5 /5 Rebekuh Ortega: We arrived as a group of 11. 3 families total, all from different areas, none local to Hollister. The owner greeted us immediately, arranged the tables to fit our party, and started service right-away with chips and delicious homemade salsa.
The restaurant style is very humble and rustic, resembling many old homes/restaurants in Mexico, but dont be deterred. The owner is warm and inviting, happy to discuss his plants and the business they have had for 18 years!
The food took longer than expected, but the owner made up for it by continuing to provide drinks and chips. But when the food arrived... just WOW!
Our party had menudo, enchiladas de mole, chilquiles rojos, bistec rancho, a burrito, and tacos. Every single person loved the meal. Not one SINGLE complaint. This is the quality Mexican food you always hope for but rarely find. Recommend this restaurant 1,000 times over.
