Chef Teriyaki - Hayward (CA)

3 /5 Stepinska Agnieszka “Aki”: I was traveling with my daughter and she wanted to get chicken teriyaki. After seeing the good reviews we decided to come here. My daughter got chicken teriyaki & I got shrimp teriyaki with noodles. You do get a lot of food & it is very greasy. My noodles had a bit of too much sauce. It was really cold and drafty inside so wet tried sitting outside but there was only one table right by a busy street. It’s a good place for take out but not sitting in. The restaurant didn’t have a nice ambiance or atmosphere- it is a more order & go place. We wanted a place to sit because we were flying out home so we ended up eating in a car which was a bit messy with all the sauce in my meal.

Moved to this area around 6 years ago and Ive always wanted to come by and try the food here.. ordered 2 plates of chicken and beef teriyaki.. the beef tasted fishy and the chicken was still cold inside, the veggies were smothered in teriyaki sauce.. just disappointed because I payed more than 30$.. and the food sucked. Only thing was the nice old man at the counter putting things in the microwave to defrost.. which means its not fresh at all.. .. sorry

1 /5 José Perez: I have been to this place many times before and was one of my favorite place to get sushi. Specially the lion king roll. Today, I when and order Miso soup, crunch roll, Vegas roll and two lion king roll. My order was to go and when we ate the lion king roll it didnt taste good. At first we thought it was the soy sauce. We looked at the roll and the avocado was black. It was because the avocado that it tasted bad. My other rolls the avocado was green even when the sushi was fry. I called them and ask if the avocado needs to be black the lady said it changes color when we bake it. So I Google bake avocado and saw that even bake the avocado was not black. I was mad since I was a bad old avocado so I took it back to them.
