4 /5 James Rabuco: First time visiting Paso Robles and decided to try Cane Tiki Room for dinner. We went on a Thursday around 5:30 or 6:00 PM and were seated instantly. The ambiance was great, and the menu had a lot of options.
We chose several dishes to share. The Spam Musubi and pork and Shrimp Dumplings were both tasty but pretty basic. We also had the Orange Chicken, which was a good mix of sweet and spicy. The Spicy Green Beans had a nice kick without being too hot. The Mini Ahi Poke Tacos were also good, but again, nothing stood out as unique. Out of all the dishes, the Chicken Lettuce Wraps were probably the best and a generous portion.
The cocktail menu was impressive. I ordered the Taro Taro, which I really liked, but the glass was packed with ice, and I only got about five to eight sips before it was gone. At $16, I expected more than that.
Parking was easy on a Thursday. While the food was decent, I felt the service didnt quite justify the price. If I went back, I would probably stick to just appetizers and then head to a local bar for drinks.
