Aztlan Grilled north - Chico (CA)

5 /5 Joel Stains: I love this place, it’s my favourite Mexican spot in Chico. Their shrimp burrito is my go-to and I love all their food! Their tres-leches is decent. Also, their portion sizes are huge! I had their chile relleno, and it was pretty good too. The soft centre with stuffed melted cheese was a perfect replacement for meat, but totally worth it… delicioso!!!! I love their ambience, the atmosphere is pretty good for any size. Their music is very pleasant, and the best part… it’s not always crowded. Update: I tried their fish tacos recently, and it’s very delicious. Unlike the ones I’ve had before which are usually pan fried fillets, this fish fillet was coated and deep fried, which definitely made a big difference. Imma go back and try more in the following weeks lol. Two of my friends tried their Fajita de carnitas and California burrito, and they enjoyed every bite from their plate. Honestly this is better than any mexican fast-food chains!

1 /5 ROBERTA RUIZ: Not a fan of this place. Had to push the seat closer to the table cause they were so far away. Wanted water with my meal and the water from the fountain machine tasted horrible. Ended up having to buy fountain drinks. Ordered burritos and enchiladas. The burritos tasted like they had mayonnaise and a strange seasoning in them. Ended up throwing them both away. Ordered the enchiladas and they were so tangy. Tried scarping the meat out but the sauce got on that too so ended up throwing those away as well. Had chips and salsa and the chips were super rubbery. Choose this place to have my birthday dinner at because I had heard such good things about this restaurant. Will not be going here again.

5 /5 Dan Brown: Nice new digs for a growing business. Very friendly and the guy was Totally in love with what they were doing and liked sharing his enthusiasm. The food was excellent, we had the recommended crispy tacos, good sized and delicious. He was very excited about his friend doing the exterior murals and they were spectacular. Maybe best Mex in Chico!!

5 /5 Christopher Herrera: My wife took a bite of my Birria tacos and instantly love this restaurant. The flavor is incredible. We also got a chili Rihanna and a horchata drink. I cant wait to go back this is my new favorite restaurant. Prices are very good!

4 /5 cindee lanning: We had street tacos, supreme burrito, wet burrito. Every thing was delicious. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is we asked for no sour cream on the wet burrito, it had sour cream. Also, it would have been better with a little more sauce. Another improvement would be real flatware, not plastic meal was very enjoyable.
