5 /5 Nora N.: We stayed at Crescent City for a night during our road trip. This place stood out as I searched for dinner. My bf and I shared a plate with 3 kinds of meat: pp, chicken, and brisket, and coleslaw and baked beans as sides. It was big enough to make us full. I wanted to swap out the chicken for tri-tip because I didnt see it on the special menu earlier. The staff/owner was kind enough to give it for us free of charge.
In general, Im not a big fan of pp and baked bean, but their food was amazing to me. My favorite was the brisket. I wish I had room in my stomach to try the mac and cheese as well.
The only catch is that they serve in togo box with plastic utensils although we dined in. So the plastic knives werent strong enough to cut the tri-tip, made it hard for me to enjoy it.
It was a small place inside, about 4 small tables for dine-in. Parking lot was small as well. Staff was helpful and friendly. I definitely visit again when Im back in town.
