5 /5 Jenae Lien: My husband’s family has been coming here since he was a little boy. They’re family oriented and they serve authentic Mexican breakfasts, stews and soups. On the weekends, potatoes are served with their breakfast plates. Each dish is packed full of flavors. I absolutely love their eggs with veggies. Their bacon is crispy and thick! Their Cafe de Olla is made to perfection, a coffee with notes of cinnamon and sweetened with brown sugar. They have a variety of seasonal agua frescas so always ask what they’re serving. Plenty of space for families to gather for breakfast after church. They have two dining rooms. They also sell local honey from Brawley, milk candies, candied peanuts. There’s about 12 spots in the parking lot so you may need to park in the neighborhood that has plenty of parking. Prices are up there with the changing economy. Coffee is over $4, and breakfast plates range from $15-$19

5 /5 Trending Nordic: New to town and tried this place. It was really good. Ive tried several different items and liked all of them. The location by the courthouse is just the right size that you can eat and have a conversation.

5 /5 John K: I was traveling and wanted a local place to eat in El Centro. I asked a local and they sent me here. It is not far from the 10 but not right off the freeway. First, the coffee with cinnamon and sugar is worth the stop alone. The chips and salsa are freshly made. The food was outstanding. I had one beef sopa and one pork. They also offer chicken. If you’re traveling get off the freeway, go the extra mile (literally) and try this place.
