3 /5 Monica Gosselin: My two friends and I went to the Two Doors Down on July 24th. My husband and I have gone here and to Brick and Fire a couple times before. We always enjoyed our experience. Because of this I decided to bring my out of town friend here as a treat. Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. We did not make a reservation so we were fortunate to get a spot in in the back outdoor section at 7pm after waiting a bit. Once seated we were essentially forgotten about. We had to wait easily 40 minutes for our order to be taken during which time we had to ask for them to bring us bread, and if we could order wine. Our bread came a while later and so did the wine. Our food took a decent amount of time to come out as well after ordering. The food was excellent as always. Once we received our food we were not checked up on, and I eventually had to go inside to ask for the dessert menu after waiting so long. At this point the resturaunt was basically empty with only one other party whom the staff inside were chatting with. The server then came out a bit later to take our dessert order which came somewhat quickly. Our server again took a while to come back. By the time we paid the check and got up to leave it was 9:20. The level of service was disappointing to say the least, we spent around $200 in food and still tipped 20%. As much as we love the food here I will be hesitant in coming back, let alone spending that much next time. If we come back again and have a good experience Ill revise my review.
