C Martin Ive been attending Calvary Visalia for a few months. I plan on making it my Church home. My 2 daughters really enjoy it there as well. Friendly church with down to earth people. Not stuffy at all. I am happy that Ive found a Church that I like. I really like Pastor Bob. But Im thrilled my girls love the kids ministry there. They both had a wonderful time at the Vacation Bible School over the summer. Its hard sometimes to find a Church that your whole family likes. So this is an answer to prayer.

Sam Ongeri A very welcoming congregation and I was made to feel at home away from home. preaching was brief and I enjoyed every bit of my time at church. I am glad I found a church same as my church back home in mombasa Kenya. I will always come back whenever I am around.

Truesdell Ryan (Reverend Ryan) They have free dinner every Friday at 5:30 or 6 pm that are awesome! Along with food Pantry give aways! Sundays and maybe Wednesday or Thursday they also have a recovery church I didnt get to attend much of.

Its really His church and the people at Gateway do their best every week serve Him and each other. Thats what I have been getting from these services since 2015 anyway. I showed up one day and I just felt a great sense that I was "at home."

Leah Miller My husband and I are searching for a new church. We’re new to Visalia & didn’t realize this is Pentecostal. Not for us!!!!! The preacher wasn’t able to stay on topic, jumped all over the place & yelled throughout the whole sermon. A huge no! Worst service we have ever attended.

Mary Garza They have people greeting you when you walk into church. The Sanctuary/Church is very nice and more people are welcoming you when you walk in the Church doors. Lots of places to sit. They have a big Altar with live music.. It is nicely set up...3 Big Screens so you can see everything...No matter where you sit. The worship here is amazing and the Pastor always has a great message. Even the guest speakers are good. They have childrens classes happening every service. They have a youth pastor & services for them & also the young adults. They have 2 services on Sunday mornings. They always hand out Brochures... at every service to let you know whats going on in the church and so you can take notes.

LIlly HArt I resonate with everything from the building, to the music , the pastor is one of the best I have ever heard. Slightly Pentecostal in their style, but not mega church flashy. If you want a church that is modern, but respectful, this church is for you. God Bless all who go there.

Geneva Firpo This is the best church ive been to! I went to another here in visalia for TWO years seeking Jesus and God was telling me to find a new church. I prayed and prayed and my best friend invited me to heart of the valley for her baptism. I got baptized myself a month later by pastor brian. He is the most sincere kindest passionate Jesus follower ive ever met. Everyone who works here is. When I walk in the building, I can feel the Holy Spirit and thats exactly what I was looking for. just know that you can come into these doors AS YOU ARE, and youll be right at home ✝️ God bless

Dani McBerry if you love jesus fellowship and smiling faces this is a wonderful place to be on Sundays. they have childrens ministry, talented modern Christian music ensemble, the pastor is relatable and real. hes been in ministry since his teens. the crowd is mostly young ranging from 0-100 (lol) everyone is welcomed loved and supported here. a great church of youre looking for a church family. or just a place to sing out loud on sundays. services are @ 9am & 11am casual dress and free coffee

andy I only leave this rating because theres a huge lack of the spirit here. Everytime we went it was rare to hear verses from the bible. We constantly got Ted talks about other philosophers more then we heard the word of God. Then durring the super bowl they played im still standing by Elton john which was just odd in general and not because Elton is apart of the LGBT community but because there are tons of inspirational songs that came from Christian bands from the early 2000s that non Christians even like which could have been very welcoming for first time people. Everyone there was nice but being kind is nothing when you arent preaching the word of God. Also purgatory was talked about here and it was just really off putting. I hope things change in the future and if the church continues on I hope for a more spirit led sermons rather then fun facts. Love you guys but please really think about what youre doing here for people.
