Grand Event Spaces We were hired (for decor and catering) by a family hosting a repass. The social hall was spacious with an great kitchen space for prep and serving. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Hope to return for more services.

BROWNEYEZ 420 I attended a friend’s baby shower nice big social area. Nice weather, neighborhood decent parking. Area was easy to get to thru Google Maps. I would like to come visit for church services one day. No complaints church is very spacious. Not sure what faith it was. Had a good time.

Neal Donovan Beautiful building right near the lake. Ive seen a handful of shows here and love the sanctuary. Gorgeous stained glass, great acoustic, impressive organ. Staff are super welcoming.

Derek Sup The Free Key Choir has had many concerts at First Congregational Church of Oakland and we keep coming back because we love it so much. The staff (Ronnie, Brian, Philip, and Neal) are all so accommodating, the space is beautiful and such a terrific venue for music, and its nestled right in the heart of Oakland. Highly recommend hosting your event here, or renting the space for whatever other purpose!

Its so heartwarming to be part of church that makes an effort to not only welcome all into the church to get to know this amazing God we follow but to purposefully, wholeheartedly, and unreservedly take God to Oakland.

Erina Hunter So update review. I found this church Jan this year. I can say I now found my Church home, I help serve on the Worship Team, First Time help serving in the kids Ministry 11/13/24. This place I have witnessed God move. When I first started going I never seen a church who service was at 4pm in the evening and they had to faithfully set up and tear down because the space where service was rented. I always then knew this place was different. Fast Forward several months they now will be having a bigger space with service being in the am. This is only the beginning for newness for NCC. I’m happy to be apart of this journey. I highly encourage anyone and everyone who loves and wants to follow Jesus to come check out this church. God Loves Oakland and he certainly loves you. Macadamian SuperBaller I really like the ambiance. It would be good for service to be longer. Im still adjusting to being able to eat something and drink coffee during service even though Im sure that Jesus is probably cool with it.

Jordan Dalrymple This is a wonderful and diverse church. If you are looking a new church home, I know you will feel comfortable here. My wife and I feel so loved and so accepted at Regeneration. I encourage you to visit this young and youthful church!

Abolaji Adesoji Oaklife was the church I never knew I needed. It is the most inclusive representation of the christian faith I have ever encountered or heard of. Oaklife has positively improved my notion of faith, love and community. I greatly recommend it!

Gina L. Norman I love Oak life church! It meets in the New Parkway theater at 10a. It’s an affirming church and a welcoming, safe space for everyone. If you’re feeling discouraged by organized religion and defeated in life, I know you’ll feel right at home at oak life ! They are a church of second chances. I have felt so welcomed, believed and nurtured here. The community is amazing!

Far Has Went for christmas candlelight concert. Music was beautiful. The church even more so(see pics). I am curious whether they play the organ which is the top half of stage background.

Natalie Lowe We were looking for a church that was grounded in biblical principals, personable, warm, had opportunities to help us grow and we found that in Vive Oakland. The campus pastors Pastor Bobby and Abi are the most personable, loving, and intentional pastors I have met since going to church all my life. They truly care about their members and are kind, biblically sound, and relatable good people. Come check it out, it is a great place to encounter real people seeking after God and His presence is alive in this church.

Erik Fortin Ive had the privilege of calling VIVE Church in Oakland home for the last 7+ years. Through those 7 years, I’ve not only been ministered and poured into by this church but have also been challenged to grow in my faith resulting in fruit I couldn’t have imagined before joining. As I’ve stepped into being a husband and a father, it’s been incredible to see the level of investment that VIVE has placed into us as a family with Moms & dads groups and their amazing ROYAL KIDS ministry. We love getting to call this church home and we love getting to build the church and bring Gods kingdom to Oakland!

Brando Menjivar Such a welcoming, beautiful, and diverse community of people! The music is great, the energy is exciting, and free coffee and donuts is always a plus. Storyline is also a great place to bring your kids! My kids love being a part of StoryKids!

Beverly Ukpabi Storyline church came into my life at the perfect time when I was going through a lot of inner healing and growth in my relationship with God. There is a lot of warmth when you step into the walls of Storyline, one that I certainly wasnt used to from a previous church I went to for years. I prayed about finding a church like this and it almost seemed too good to be true to find it, but God was listening to my prayers and he delivered like He always does. The community is amazing and the church is continuously growing. Pastor Akeem loves to connect with each person who walks through the doors (which is hard to come by with other churches), and the leadership team goes above and beyond in how they connect with all the congregants. Its exciting to see where Storyline is headed this year and Im so thankful to be here!

Diana D I have not personally attended this church, but have met a lot of people from here who really LOVE it. I really appreciate how they serve local Oakland ministries like Cityteam Oakland (which is tackling the homelessness crisis) & Harbor House (which gives education and care to immigrants). Looking forward to visiting this church myself next month!

Pamela Gadziala EVERYONE is welcome as you are! This is a Biblically based church that makes it their primary mission to be truly diversified because that’s how Heaven will be. If Jesus set up a church in Oakland this is what it would look like.

R Onilozay RECOVERY MEETING FOR EMOTIONS... I attend (only) Recovery International meetings here (Mondays @ 12:30) which are wonderful. For those of us who need a community and help with our emotions of anxiety and / or anger. I learn so much that actually works and Ive made friends who understand, really understand. The format is a bit different from 12-step if youre used to that, so it took a few meeting s to get the flow so to speak. .. but it is an amazing tool Ive just added to my recovery. Meetings in the east bay are Monday here, Wed in Oakland also, Sat at Kaiser bldg off Howe & MacArthur @ 1:30. Please come the group is small. Look for the side red door. (I have no religious affiliation with the church).

Jasmin M This used to be a holistic feeling space and it has literally turned into a FOR PROFIT ONLY set up now. They made enough honest dollars from the congregation and now they are Trumping up the cost and giving much smaller sizes. I don’t support greed
