Shawn Kaschafsky Went on a Saturday night which seems to be the only time they serve New York strip so I had that with sauteed mushroom and onions (by special requests). It was excellent and cooked perfectly as a medium rare. The staff was great, the servers were attentive and pleasant. My ONLY wish would be that I should have asked for a different side than the garlic fries normally served with it. Not that they werent good because they were, just not my side of choice with a steak.

Mark Savella I visited this place last weekend and was genuinely impressed by the ambiance. The modern aesthetic was truly eye-catching. They even have a small shop section, and I found myself tempted to buy a beautiful gemstone necklace, but unfortunately, I passed it up. I decided to order a bowl, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious and refreshing. The customization options are fantastic with many options to choose from the freshest ingredients. The chicken was juicy and tender, the veggies were crisp, and the tzatziki sauce was just right! By the time I finished my bowl, I felt satisfied but not overly full. What I really appreciate about this spot is that I left feeling great, not stuffed at all. Overall, I rate this place a 10/10. Ill be back again!

Angelina J We were looking for lunch but the town was on siesta. Deer Creek was open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also scored a reservation for Thanksgiving. Best turkey I ever had. Outside seating is available overlooking the Deer Creek. New owners about a year ago. If you haven’t been in a while, its time to check it out. They say the breakfast is great.

Sal Crazy Horse is a great place to go and eat and just be yourself. Its a pretty cool atmosphere unlike some other saloons Ive been to. The food is tasty and the service is great as well. Weve been to Nevada City many times over the past 20yrs or so but weve never been to this particular place as weve always gone to our wine club that we belong to here. This will now be our go-to place every time we go back to NC.

Igor Bandeira If you’re looking for a recommendation, definitely try their ribeye, which is their signature dish. I also had the potato and finished with the strawberry ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious. Next time I’m in Nevada City, I’ll absolutely be coming back here for dinner!

Bay Walker Great lunch for 5 of us reconnecting. Burgers, beer and fries were all well prepared and very tasty. They have a broad menu with many options available. The server was terrific. It was a bit noisy outside with other patrons and music.

I have visited at least three times a week for over three years and can say the products and service are consistently excellent and super healthy. I really like the people, too. Blaire Wyatt We loved Lika’s! The goat cheese and grilled veggies sandwich was so good. Highly recommend their tri-tip sandwich - their fries are unbelievable! Atmosphere was casual and chill. Staff are super friendly.

Kelly Hanner Really happy we have something like Cali O in town. My partner and I go here often to grab a bite to eat. We love their burgers- from the black and blue, to the portobello burger to the kale salad, curry coleslaw, curry fries, chicken wings... it’s all so good & made with quality ingredients. The staff is super nice too.

Mark Savella Growing up in the Bay Area and waiting in those long lines in San Francisco and San Jose, this spot really knows how to do ramen right! I tried the Tantan Style Ramen and swapped the pork for Kaarage Chicken, and let me tell you, it was amazing. I love pork too, and I can only imagine it would’ve been awesome, but since it doesnt sit well with me, I went with the chicken instead. The broth was super flavorful, and everything just hit the spot. You can really tell they put a ton of love into that 17-hour bone broth. One of the reviews on here said the broth was flavorless & the noodles were mushy, but I had the complete opposite experience. The noodles were golden, with the perfect consistency for slurping. The chicken was also golden and crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. The staff was super friendly, and the place had a cute, cozy vibe with an industrial twist. I loved checking out the local artwork on the walls. Overall, you’ve got to try this ramen place out. You definitely won’t regret it!
