David Kong They are good people but I feel they need more experience. Next time I would rather use someone with a little more experience and someone with great online reviews. Stay away from Craigslist. My case was up and down and around. I was lost most of the time with late emails and communication was short and at the end still dont know whats going on. It was hard because the lawyer and staff was unorganized and didnt know about my case. They gave me high hopes only to come crashing down. Everything was a I didnt know that or things between them were not communicated. They would say one thing and then change their minds on the case, how we should have approached the case and how to proceed with it. The whole time with my case was very confusing. They said my case will go like this and like that but it was just all talk and went sour pretty fast. When the lawyers fought hard mines backed down. He made me feel like everything was my fault even though they made me feel like I did nothing wrong and that I do have a case here. They were not on the same page most of the time. Overall they are nice and good people but to win cases I think you need the best and most experience out there. They are not fighters they are more worried about the money they lost. These were the last words I wanted to hear. "I dont want to fight no more. I lost a lot of money already." Im thinking to myself "then why start the lawsuit? Why go through all this?" I was frustrated not satisfied but it is what it is. Get someone with experience and make sure they have great online reviews. Talk to people who have used them before and research them. If theyre advertising on Craigslist just skip it with a passion. Find the reviewed and trusted places to fight for you that will go all the way for you without a doubt.

I thought the staff and professors were very helpful at answering any questions I had, making me feel comfortable, and were supportive throughout my law school journey. They conduct student surveys routinely to ensure the students are heard and they have always done a great job at hearing our needs. They even took the time to help me out with bar study by reviewing my essays with me and providing me with advice on how to pass the bar, and I was successful. Im giving them 4/5 stars because I had about 2 professors that were not the best, and I had to teach myself a lot of the material on my own, and my grade/GPA suffered because of this. However, I would still highly recommend this school to anyone that is interested in becoming a lawyer.

Ashley Emmersen San Joaquin College of Law (SJCL) is a great school, and anyone seeking to earn their law degree to practice law in the Central Valley should strongly consider attending SJCL. I was intimidated by law schools when I began my search, afraid that I wouldn’t be given one chance to prove I could make it to the end. SJCL read my personal statement and gave me that chance. I passed the bar the first time I took it because the faculty, the staff, and the administration at SJCL is dedicated to giving students the best opportunity to succeed. I will admit that my time at SJCL came with complaints as well. I felt some of my professors were unfamiliar with the curriculum or less dedicated to the class than they should have been. However, when the students brought this to the school’s attention, the school quickly took action and made sure that the student’s grades would not suffer as a result, and continued to seek more qualified attorneys to fill the role. I was also impressed with how quickly the school responded to the global pandemic. Over the weekend the school held meetings and trainings with professors, and classes resumed Monday morning, uninterrupted. Most of all, this school is a community. SJCL’s fraternity and it’s clubs connected students, professors, and practicing attorneys to foster both professional and personal relationships. I hope that anyone who desires to become a great attorney considers applying to SJCL.
