Daniel Chirillo My experience in the Fall of 2024 with Loch at Dens Auto Repair is first and foremost he is a person of great integrity and a big heart towards anyone who has the fortune to meet him. Matching that is his skill and knowledge of his trade. I learned all of this of Loch within an hour of him answering my call of an engine failure shortly after the shop had closed. He remained at the shop waiting for the tow truck to arrive with me, my family and car. I explained we were in a bind, 750 miles from home, and needing to be at our destination another 250 miles away the next day. He immediately set about diagnosing the cause of the engine failure while showing and explaining to me each step he took. I knew enough from my younger days of doing some engine maintenance to understand that what he showed me meant a blown head gasket and cracked engine and a repair that could not be completed in time to put us back on the road within a day. By Loch understanding our predicament, he showed an immense amount of kindness in staying after hours to look at the car. His quick and expert diagnosis made our decision easy to leave the car in his good hands for repair and rent another. When I returned to the shop after the repairs were completed Loch explained to me what had been done while showing me the restored engine. Seeing me off he gave me a couple of cold bottles of water for what turned out to be a long and smooth road trip home!

keith johnson Under new owners, they replaced my axle, seal and bearing kit on the rear. Our Nissan Titan because of a leak i brought my own parts. Purchased at Amazon. The charge to replace the kit. What is 2 hours? $240, it started leaking again. At 100 miles im not really happy, no warranty. Update, I removed the axle, tuck it to a professional to install new bearing kit. He removed the bearing, he called me back and said, whoever installed this bearing cut your axle, so I had to buy a new axle, with bearing and seal kit on it $213. Very disappointed at fair way, just off at Cherokee road.

I called Denny at Cardoza Automotive, and he kindly told me to head straight to their shop. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Brandie, who was incredibly amazing. She promptly ordered the necessary part, and the turnaround time from when I arrived to when I picked up my car was just three hours. Kevin Walker Not totally sure what happened, made a diagnostic appointment and was told $175 over the phone. Got my diagnostic done and was told $320 after the service. I obviously said “whoa buddy I thought the diagnostic was $175” and wasn’t really given a good explanation why it was double. It was close to close and I felt rushed out once I started asking why the amount changed and also got an attitude. I ended up only paying $283 so only 108 extra?

xyooj tamada “ona” Called about having my u-joints replaced on my driveshaft. Mechanic told which side and how many do I want to replace. I told him the front driveshaft and just 1 u-joint needed replace. The drive shaft has 2 u-joints only. He told me 20 bucks. I took it off myself, bought the parts myself and took it to him. I thought ok 20 bucks, might as well change both u-joints on the one shaft. So it should be 40 for labor. After hrs of working on it he finally got it on. Told me and my brother 120. Wait I might of heard him wrong but how is it 120 when he changed 2 ? I must of heard 20 but he probably meant 120 for 1 u-joint and he changed 2 so I owed him 240 for labor right? So 120 means he changed 2 and charged me 60 per u-joint? 120 and 20 I can understand might of been my fault ( Just for labor, I took everything off the car and bought my own parts ). How did I hear 20 he charged 120 for both u-joint that means he said 60 per and I heard 20? Bottom line is this place was the only place open at the time. He ripped me off bad but I had a long day and didnt want to start any trouble. Take my advice and avoid this beat down place even if its the only shop still open on saturday. Went from 20 to 120 because he thought it was a easy job but took him longer and changed the price on me. Yea if you reading this you know who I am. Karma will bite you when you least expect it.

Dee Prado Stockton Auto is a good place to go. I just recently got my car fixed through them. They were very helpful and for what ended up being wrong with my car, it would’ve been a lot more $$$. They ended up fixing for a lot less than quoted. It was not about the money but more about fixing the vehicle and making the customer happy. I would go back to them for repairs.

Sean Roby I worked here for about 4 or 5 months and we did a Diagnostics on a 2018 white Dodge Charger 6 cylinder, my lead tech Ricardo and my manager Uriel told the customer that they that he needed a new motor so I want to go look at it turns out it didnt need a motor it just needed a starter they continued to buy the car for $500 and ended up selling it for $18,500 dont bring your car there unless you want a new motor for no reason

Ricardo Echeverria My vehicle was serviced on 1/28/2023 I noticed it had a dent on the right front fender after I took it home and looked it over. I spoke to the front desk attendant on 1/29/2023. I left my name and number with him to give to his boss. Its been one week and I Havent heard anything back. The work was far from perfect as several push in clips are broken or missing, the stated warranty prior to purchase is not accurate to the invoice I received. The vehicle mileage need for any warranty work was not noted and when I asked to see camera video of the vehicle being moved to make sure where the damage happened, turns out the cameras dont work or arent connected. This doesnt seem like a proper business to ever want to return to. As a previous employee in the auto service industry this would be unacceptable in any work place. Update as of 4/26/25 and Ive never received any kind of response from the owner/manager or person in charge. I spent more than $1000 here back in 2023. Its a shame places like this are allowed to do business. Plain and simple, if you value your customers at least have the decency to own your mistakes. After servicing my vehicle myself Ive discovered at least 9 to 10 push clips missing throughout the trunk, under the hood and in the rear seat. All related to shock replacement which I had done here at this location along with a transmission and coolant fluids replaced. Overall Im not holding any grudges but if you value your vehicle take it elsewhere or do it yourself.

JIK JIK Alert: The skinny mechanic at this place did oil change on my car, and after this oil change, my car started leaking oil. It was his carelessness that he didn’t properly tighten the bottom bolt where the oil comes out. If your car is ruined here, nobody here will take responsibility for any wrongdoing and you will be told nothing except false blames on you and not them and all sorts of lies. I went here for a simple oil change service and then my car was ruined. Never ever before did I saw a drop of oil under my car, and this mess started after this oil change. Feeling extremely disappointed. Never ever coming back.

I am never ever going back for any kind of auto service to this place. Complete rip off, scam, their only interest was milking money out of me. They will keep on recommending running fake diagnosis. They can’t fix vehicle and add to the problem instead of fixing it. My vehicle that they worked on is making strange kind of noises now.
