Gage Miranda Recently took my 2017 whipple mustang to D&H automotive for a ac service only to be told that I needed to replace the whole a/c system and was then quoted $3,000+ to get it replaced.. I wanted a 2nd opinion so this morning I took my car to Matt at MDR automotive and told him what I was told from d&h about needing the whole system replaced, matt thought that was wierd so he said lets just put it on the ac machine and see what it says.. after about 30 minutes matt stated the a/c system was 100%fine and my issue was low speed cooling fans not turning on.. after about 4 hours we figured out the culprit, which was just a misplaced relay.. so all in all matt saved me $3,000+ he also worked on my car for 4+ hours and only charged me 150 for the normal ac servicing! Everyone should get a 2nd opinion with automotive mechanics, or just bring your car to Matt at MDR automotive and he will treat you with kindness and not charge you for parts that were never needed.. if I could rate 10 stars I would!!!

BradnCheree Foy Amazing service. Trailed a few mufflers!!! I initially went to 2 other muffler shops, and one of them directed me here! They said thats too big a job, go to major muffler on churn creek", so I did.... No other muffler shop offered this service..... When I went to major muffler they suggested that we come in and we trial a bunch of different mufflers to see what each sound I like and choose the right one. We trialled straight pipe, flowmaster outlaws and settled with a flowmaster super 40 series. The fact that they had them in stock was great too. Both other shops said weeks delay. So, off we went and tried a few mufflers, we did decibel tests to make sure we were still legal. Amazing service. Great quality job. Without hesitation I recommend them . Very very happy.

Wes Montgomery Major Muffler rebuilt my exhaust with new tips and it sounds fantastic -- makes the car sound as good as it looks, without waking up the entire neighborhood. AND the work came in at $200 UNDER THE ESTIMATE they gave me up front. Dealing with an auto mechanic doesnt get much better than that! Highly recommend these guys, I dont know much about cars but you can trust them to give you the straight dope.

Art Smith I had my top radiator hose develop a leak while driving from Seattle to Reno NV last weekend. Sunday morning, it blew enough to stop my trip in Weed CA. I got a tow to Redding, near the Subaru dealership, and it turned out near Rustys also. I friend recommended Rusty, but I couldnt call until Monday morning. I called when they opened up (figuring if they couldnt do it I could go to the Subaru dealership), and Rusty said they were short-handed, but could try to fit me in if I could leave the car all day. Figuring thats the same response Id get from the dealer, I said OK. Drove over there, and he said hed get to it as soon as he finished up another car. Walked to the local Starbucks, had a cup, and came back; my car was nearly done. He suggested replacing the lower radiator hose also, and I said fine. The car was completely done by 10:30, and at a cost far lower than the same service at the dealership. Friendly and professional; definitely worth it!

He informed me that the belt was available and he would do everything possible to get us back on the road that afternoon. He did, but that is an understatement. John Moran I had to pull over from driving just now because I heard the Strongs Auto commercial again. It just irritates me. So, heres MY real customer review. They did really good and timely work on my 2006 truck, the first time I used them. And several times since. But almost 2 years ago they tried to repair my 2004 sienna. They said I was smelling radiator fluid in the cab due to a bad water pump. I took their word for it. They had to replace the water pump and also the timing chain as part of that repair. Over $2,000. But... it didnt fix the smell. I went back last year to have them look at it. They told me there is no smell, and also said I have bad cats (catalytic converters). It was gonna be over $2,500 to replace them. But it wasnt true. I feel like they said that to get me to dump the sienna so they wouldnt have to deal with it. I went and got the car smogged for registration, no red lights on dash, no bad cats, not problem passing smog. Im not happy with Strongs. They wouldt follow thru with their 2 yr warranty. I had to go to Locust Street Auto for a repair. When I went to get an oil change 6 months later the oil place said the tranny is still leaking. I called Locust Auto and they said to bring it back in. They fixed it, found another leak on another leak they had fixed previously and fixed that one too, no problem, no charge. THATS the way warranties are supposed to work. Thats my take on Strongs, from a real customer.

Kevin did phenomenal suggesting what parts to use and how to correct my issues. Kevin’s attention to every detail and professional work has my truck driving like new again. Brian Wauer I would run out of superlatives attempting to describe how great the service and the entire staff is at All Wheel. We ran into problems on the road and ran across All Wheel by luck. They squeezed us in to get our truck and camper trailer squared away and back on the road again as soon as possible. Alex worked tirelessly under a hot sun to get my truck fixed right. Brian did the work of two people fixing the trailer. Rizzi was the most welcoming person weve ever run across in any service industry. It is apparent that taking care of customers and taking care of their staff are both priorities and it shows. Although I live in San Diego, it would be hard for me not to make the two-day drive to have any future work done here. Yes, it was that good.

Archie Criner I paid $559 dollars to have my engine oil, oil filter and fuel filter changed. I brought in my 1996 ford f350 Powerstroke for a simple oil change. The guy at the desk asked if I would like the fuel filter changed as well and I agreed. I was never given an estimate for the work which I wasn’t overly concerned about since I’ve been to shops before. I was surprised to figure out they charged a full hour to change the fuel filter as it’s right on top of the engine. It alone was over $200 dollars when it’s a plastic cap to unscrew, remove the old and replace with a new one. I’ve done it before and the original ford manual even gives simple and basic instruction upon replacement. On top of that, the oil was never brought up, I will take my blame in trusting a diesel shop to know old diesels should not run full synthetic oil but it’s pretty customary to ask your customer what type of oil they prefer. Just as I shouldn’t have assumed, the mechanic shouldn’t have assumed to put full synthetic in the truck all the while overfilling it by at least half a quart from what I can tell on the dipstick. All and all it was a horrible experience.

We have a type 6 fire engine and had some issues, they helped us out, though extremely busy, and got us out on the fire line quickly. Aisha Najera I’m recommending Perry’s to everyone. I took my car in on a Tuesday and it was ready by Friday. I went in feeling less than optimistic about the condition of my car (I read many reviews on my model and it wasn’t looking well) and Perry’s diagnosed it within an hour after drop off and were communicating with me constantly about what they found. Their link to the inspection results were extremely detailed with photos showing the problem areas. I only chose to continue with the service I took it in for initially, but after check out, on the receipt showed a detailed description of the areas I need to follow up with and it included the price already. I’m so grateful to have found Perry’s, the staff was so welcoming and they have 2 doggos in office who won my heart as well! They got me back on the road in almost less than 3 days and are animal lovers, so what more can you ask for?!
