5 /5 Neo: Wilshire coin is the best place on the westside of Los Angeles to buy and sell precious metals! Tom is the guru when it comes to jewelry and silverware. All the staff are trustworthy and courteous. One time i forgot to get my change from a transaction, and the next time i went in, Dan reminded me that i had left it. Always a great experience, thanks for everything guys!

Most recently, both Glenn and Dan have gone the extra mile to try to offer advice and help those who have seen their houses destroyed in the recent Palisades fire. I am very grateful for their community support and their wonderful customer service.

I only had a few hours before I would have to leave to go to the airport. Dan handled everything so professionally and so quickly I was amazed. I have total confidence in Wilshire coin. 4 /5 Scot Hoffman: So, I went into Wilshire Coin last Monday at around 4:00 PM and was greeted by Dan the smelter. He seemed friendly. I brought in some gold bullion parts. He said that it was real simple. He would test and smelt down the product and pay 90% of the going rate which was $3,005 Monday 03/25/2025. I weighed my product on a gem scale in grams and had 36.6g. He said that they pay in Troy oz. I agreed and the deal was done. I called up the following morning and left 5 messages because I had some follow-up questions. Dan was not able to return my call because they have been quite busy with the Palisades fires. The manager, John, replied and was able to answer my questions. My only complaint is contacting them. I will be coming back in the future.
