5 /5 Maliha Islam: I’ve been coming here for over a year and I simply love this studio! I’ve explored 5-6 different barre studios in my area (mostly chain ones like Barre3), but there is definitely something special about the Wild and the Barre with its small studio charm and instructors that pay attention to every individual student. The owners Natalia and her husband are really warm and welcoming and I love how they have decorated this studio along with their kids!
I’ve had trouble maintaining a fitness routine and want to give a special shoutout to Janice Maloney for making her classes so fun and vibrant. She has great choice of music which makes the workouts very enjoyable, some dance-style barre moves and a great balance of cardio and strength! I used to live in San Jose and would make the drive up to Redwood City every week for her classes for the first year (I live very close to the studio now, haha surprise). Now after over a year later, I’m proud to say I’m a regular at this studio :) On a more personal note, I used to dance as a kid, but have lost touch as I grew older and now the idea of dancing in front of people makes me really nervous. Janice’s classes are somewhat nostalgic and her gentle incorporation of dance moves in the workouts brings out a side of me that I seemed to have lost. Janice is a great instructor, extremely sweet and supportive and it’s an absolute pleasure being her student!
