1 /5 Elliot Maldonado: Awful. I have been with US Bank for almost 10 years and it has only gotten worse. They closed down one of the two branches in my town, then only have one teller working most days. If you need to deposit a check greater than $16,000, you HAVE to go to the branch and wait an hour for the one teller to get to you. When you first walk into the branch they tell you to use online checking. Do you think if that was an option I’d have driven down here? I felt bad for the elderly people that genuinely don’t know how to navigate the apps etc. and in there several times a week trying to get help. They place checks on hold for 9 days, then reject transactions instead of just putting them on hold. Then they charge you late fees because they have taken so long to put the money in your account. It’s all big business as usual. They are not there for the customer. Run!
