5 /5 Laura Penn: When I was helping my friend move out of his apt I fell on the stairs. The building manager was there to see it and he said it’s because the second story stairs are smaller than the rest of the building. I’ll spare the details but I got a huge bruise and asked them to file it against the building’s insurance and to fix the stairs so it wouldn’t happen to someone else but then it turned into my word against theirs and they wanted us to just go to mediation. Thankfully the Nielsen Tus Abogados de Accidentes was on my side with “ just mediation” which was a much bigger deal than I realized and I could’ve said the wrong thing in front of the insurance company and building owner. Thank you for helping me get justice, and get those stairs fixed! I’m impressed.
