With Austen’s coaching through the difficult and painful process I was able to return to the slopes in December 2017. I love his approach to training he challenges me. I show up, work hard and follow Austen’s coaching. I’m stronger all over, I most appreciate that I am able to lift and carry heavy things in regular life and at the gym.

5 /5 dane isqiel: I met the owner back in 2002 at a local gym in Modesto as I would notice his workouts at the gym were killer. Since then he has became my go to for all my supplements and workout needs. It’s not his job but his hobby. You can’t find true dedicated trainers like this anymore. There just not built in this generation like that anymore. I live out of state now but whenever I’m in town visiting family I make sure to schedule a workout in at the fit factory!!!

5 /5 Joe Arsheid: Not pushing yourself past your comfort level? Fit Factory will take care of that without making feel so sore that you cant do your daily activities (including work.) Dont know what technique to use to hit every muscle group? Fit Factory will direct you as you go. Want a healthy shake after your workout? Theyll make one for you. Did you forget your shaker? You can buy one there or they have disposable shakers. Have you had issues in the past with a personal trainer not knowing what machine or free weight to use next? Dont worry this gym is ran by pros ( with many years of experience.) with all the heavy duty equipment you will ever need. Even equipment youve never seen before. Read the personal trainers biography by visiting their website so you can meet your personal trainer beforehand. They have both male and female trainers and either trainer Ive seen works great with both male or female clients. Give it a shot like I did. Just FYI if you havent seen a personal trainer in the past it does cost extra. But take into account that youre using their equipment, time and expertise. Now that being said theyre transparent about their pricing and its reasonable for what youre getting. Oh last but not least, they sell protine, BCAAs, weight loss supplements and a bunch of other supplements that they can explain for you if you ask. I buy my protein shaker there too because in my opinion theyre (the ones that say 5%) are the best shakers Ive ever used. No leaks and the have a finger handle. My history is about 4 months and I am very happy there. I rarely miss a day and theyve never missed a day (including holidays). BTW; theyre not going to make you do anything you dont want to do that may medically effect you. Youre safe there. That doesnt mean he or she wont push you to your limits. Also, theyre not going to make you lift weight you cant handle. They modify each session to each individual and they know what you can or cannot do. Im seeing results I havent seen in years. Benny Torres: Place is spotless, no sticky benches or nasty smells ever. Every machine works; if something’s off they fix it same day. Staff actually notice you they alway greet you and say bye when exiting. Best gym I’ve hit in years. Other gyms in the area are not as well maintained as this one nor have even half the equipment this one has to square footage ratio.

Alexis Lacayo: Most likely going to terminate my membership soon. This club can never seem to enforce their rules. It would be nice if someone would come out of the office every now and then to check the pool area, especially the hot tub. They have a sign posted that reads "Children under 14 not allowed in spa", yet kids are always in the spa. They make it dirty and jump in the water, run around with minimal parent supervision. Today a kid did a cannon ball into the spa. Very cool... Also, their water machine filter was left on red for weeks, told employee it still hasnt changed and they told me its always like that. Weeks later the filter light shows green. So I was essentially lied to. Not worth the money paid and would rather spend my money elsewhere. Update: Hot tub jets are now broken due to the carelessness of others. Also, water machine by tennis courts have not had filter changed since 12/2023. Staff at Planet Fitness are more educated and nicer than the staff at Brenda. No one knew how to cancel a membership. Pools are also dirty, one seems to be in cleaning every time. Go spend your money elsewhere.

Chris Singh: Been a member for almost 2 years now and safe to say, this is the best powerlifting gym in Modesto. They have all the equipment you’ll ever need, from stiff bars, IPF approved bars, to even deadlift bars. Several rogue kilo plates, Dumbbells varying from 5lbs to over 125+lbs I believe. Several high quality cable machines, and body building machines for your accessory lifts as well. They also have 4 different deadlift mats with such an amazing and welcoming community so its easy too meet new people and workout in a friendly environment. Don’t be afraid to ask anybody questions, because Im sure everyone is willing to help each other out. That’s what makes the gym so great, amazing equipment, but most importantly an amazing community.

ava: Planet Fitness is a great starter gym and I have enjoyed coming here! At first I was intimated but a worker name Julie was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Julie has to be one of the best workers there! She helped me with figuring out the machines, my form , and what to eat. Whenever I walk in she is always flashing a smile and providing a nice and safe environment. Thank you to Julie for being such an amazing worker! I hope planet fitness will realize how amazing she is and give her a raise!
