5 /5 Ranjan Patel, PsyD MFT: This was such an awesome experience! What a welcome addition to the Indian jewelry lineup not only in Santa Clara (Sunnyvale already saturated with 223k gold), but general Bay Area. It’s brimming with all the goodies you’d want, everything from pure solid 22k gold bangles and bracelet, shimmering tennis diamond bracelets and necklaces, collars, and rings to earrings, dangles and studs to everything else. I wasn’t in the market for anklets but wouldn’t be surprised if they carried those as well. I’m so freaking bummed that when I entered, I didn’t have the bandwidth and emotional wherewithal to take photos! I missed out. Big time. I’m so sorry! Next time, I’ll take photos showcasing their beauty. Because their showroom is a trust showstopper. It’s stunning with lighting you’d normally not associate with an Indian jewelry shop. No shade. But seriously, it’s magnificent inside, more of what you’d expect from the high end jewelry maestros such as Cartier and Tiffany of the Western world, you know when you walk in and get the treatment you think befitting you? Well, hang onto your hat, because that’s exactly what you’ll get here, everything from being offered water to being escorted to the sorts of designs they think you’ll lie (based on what feedback you’re giving them). It’s a lavish yet surprisingly affordable experience, e.g. they don’t have crazy markups and yes: they weigh the gold in front of you and price it all accordingly. The customer service is friendly, engaged, sweet, friendly and down to earth, super personable and their gracious hospitality is not what you’d experience elsewhere. It’s such a fantastic thing, and their selection is beyond vast. My husband got the lowdown on their brand being the absolute best when he was in New Delhi recently, which is where he scored something. To his shock, they told him that they’d just (two weeks ago) opened their store here in Sunnyvale. Well daaamn. How could I not go? Obviously the store had my name written all over it, no matter I’d told myself to. Not get all materialistic. But as any self-respecting Indian woman will telly you: it’s not a purchase. Its an INVESTMENT. Uh-huh :-) Ikt’s spacious and they’re located on el Camino with their dedicated parking lot, easy to get to. Make a beeline for it and prepare to be astonished.
