  • Pure Barre - Chula Vista
Sheila Pablo: Just want to say a big shoutout to Marco! He’s been very welcoming, informative and helpful throughout my first couple classes at Pure Barre. I’m excited to start my fitness journey here!
Body Effects Imperial Beach Family Fitness Center - Imperial Beach
Lola Miller: Leon is great , he really takes care of us in his senior class , Best workouts !!
    I B Fitness - Imperial Beach
Eric S: Perfect for weightlifters looking to go heavy or otherwise. Bumper plates galore, 3 fully adjustable squat racks and plenty of open area besides. 24 hours makes things easy too.
    Guajome Outdoor Gym - Oceanside
Justin Symington: Guajome park is already a gem of a park in North County, and the addition of the outdoor gym about 5 years ago is one of its best secrets. The hill is kinda of on its own, private perch overlooking the lower pond and the big wetland. So its nice just for hanging out and birding. But the amenities here are great too--sand volleyball court, pickleball, horseshoes, and some workout equipment. Just remember to bring your own net for pickleball.
    Ballast CrossFit - Oceanside
jaime diane: This is by far my favorite gym! Great coaches, great athletes! Everyone is supportive and kind! Ballast was 100% the gym for me! Coach Zach is super helpful and thorough when explaining the workouts! I learned and grew so much here! If you go, don’t forget to ask about pickleball on Fridays!
    e Studio Pilates + Yoga - Oceanside
Mika Kaczmar: Just took a foundation class with e Studio Pilates with Jen as my instructor. It was an amazing introduction for someone who has never done pilates before. Jen was incredibly helpful and kind to me during the whole class. Although it was my first time, the other people in the class were very community-oriented! Seemed like a great group of people. Would recommend to anyone in the area that wants to try pilates for the first time!
    Kasia Fitness - Oceanside
    Delve Wellness Collective - Oceanside
Amelia Curtis: I love the yoga classes at Delve! The intimate Thursday rooftop flow is always a unique blend of challenging and relaxing and the Sunday class is such a pretty spot and a great regular flow class! I also highly recommend the restorative classes when they are offered. I always leave feeling refreshed and sun-kissed!
LuxFit Mission Rock - San Francisco
Christina Houlihan: First time doing a Luxfit class and it was 10/10! They gave great recommendations for modifications as needed and very friendly staff to ask any questions to. Would recommend to any fitness level!
Equinox Van Mission - San Francisco
Joe Boys: Newest Equinox in the city. Three levels with locker rooms on the first floor, main cardio and weightlifting areas on the first floor, and studios on the second floor. There are comfortable lounge areas and working spaces along the main corridor. It occupies a large space at the base of a residential tower which is separate. The only con is the location on the corner of Mission and Van Ness, although it is convenient to BART and Muni.
