5 /5 Catrina F: What a great place! I was recommended this gym during some travels and glad I came to get my workout in. Not only do they have all the equipment one might need (including turf, a sled, even a designated area for med ball throws), but they also have amenities (lockers, showers, sauna, ice bath) and small touches around the space that show someone really had their clientele in mind when putting it all together (reusable water bottles ready to use, towels). And the environment was the best part! It was so positive and the entire team was professional, helpful and friendly. Thanks everyone!

Pure Barre - Palo Alto

Genevieve Orr: Pure barre is definitely my favorite barre studio. I love the different class formats for a variety of workouts, and each class keeps things moving fast enough for it to be fun. The space is clean, teachers are great, and ambiance is supportive and inclusive. Classes kick my booty in a good way!

Suzanne Tamang: I love pilates and yoga and Ive been doing it for decades. The rise of chains like Club Pilates are attractive due to the number of classes and locations. However, they simply dont have the quality of teachers and classes that smaller shops like YogaSource bring to clients. Feels like a McDonalds model imposed on pilates.

CrossFit Palo Alto - Mountain View

Kyla Farrell: Ive belonged to three different CrossFit gyms, and CrossFit Palo Alto is hands down my favorite and the best Ive experienced in terms of community, quality of coaching and programming. Tim is a super knowledgable, very professional, and will meet you where youre at whether its your first fitness class ever or youve been working out for years. I really appreciate his emphasis on making CrossFit a sustainable practice and part of your weekly routine. He keeps the workouts challenging, varied and interesting. I been amazed by how much stronger and more physically capable I feel just from going to class twice a week. I highly recommend checking this gym out!

NCFIT Mountain View - Mountain View

The folks here are super friendly and always cheering each other on, which makes a big difference. The coaches are awesome too, fun, know their stuff, and make every class something to look forward to!

City Sports Club - Mountain View

Micheline Rosmann: City Sports is my favorite gym in the Bay Area! The staff is always kind and welcoming, the gym is clean and well-maintained, and the sauna is excellent — a perfect way to relax after a workout. I always feel comfortable and motivated here. Highly recommend!

Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation - Stanford

Justin: This building is currently being used to serve the community to provide covid vaccinations to the public. Stanford Medicine is taking multiple precautions to make the place safe as you enter the building to verify your eligibility and staying in line for your vaccine shot. Then after they schedule your second appointment while making sure there are no side effects. Beautiful campus, beautiful buildings and the staff is great!!!

YogaSix Palo Alto - Palo Alto

brock timmons: I got their trial week and I’ve been hitting as many classes as I can. I’m a big fan of the fact that all of their hot classes are the same. The predictability allows my body to easily find the flow. Different instructors have different cuing though, which has allowed me to deepen my practice every time as there are so many small details you can focus on. The slow flow is amazing as well. I have a lot of chronic pain from sports. Slowly moving through the poses allows for deeper release of tension I’ve been holding onto for years. The studio is very nice and well kept. I felt very welcome as they wrote my name on the board and welcomed me into my first class. I have already met some very cool people who attend. It’s a great location with great food nearby for after. This is a great space with great people and I would recommend it to anyone.

MNTSTUDIO - Palo Alto

Ellie Kiany: I really wanted to like MNT Pilates Studio, but the experience fell apart quickly. When I reached out for help regarding an issue with my account, the staff’s attitude was surprisingly unhelpful. Instead of listening or trying to sort things out, they acted annoyed, which made the whole situation uncomfortable. The atmosphere felt unprofessional, and the way concerns were handled showed a real lack of respect for clients. With so many great studios in the area that value customer experience, this one just isn’t worth it. I won’t be going back.

Transform Fitness Studio - Mountain View - Mountain View

Amatullah Yousif: I used to go to couple other Lagree and Pilates studios but Transform has become my go-to, one of the best workouts and always consistent no matter what class or instructor youll get an incredible workout! Love being able to hit so many muscles and areas of the body in under an hour! All the instructors Ive had have been very well educated and take the time to correct my form off-mic, and are very encouraging and friendly. Love the small size of the class, almost feels like 1 on 1 personalized training! Its a great feeling to challenge yourself each class and see yourself getting stronger each time! Also a bonus as someone who bikes and uses transit its one of the most accessible studios, right on the Caltrain line!
