  • Womens Athletic Club - Santa Barbara
Amanda Slade: Best gym experience I’ve ever had. Alice has cultivated such a great community of members and created a lovely place to work out. It has everything you need and it’s never so busy that you can’t access all the equipment you need. I moved away and I miss it all the time! Gold’s and 24 could never beat the WAC.
    ENDLSS FITNESS - Santa Barbara
zech armstrong: Endlss Fitness is hands down the best gym in town! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a welcoming team who genuinely care about your fitness journey. The equipment is top-quality, and there’s never a wait for machines. The space is always clean, and the atmosphere is motivating without being intimidating. Best gym in Santa Barbara!
    A.R.E.A. 44 Fitness - Goleta
Zac Armstrong: In town for a few days and found this gym down from the hotel. Chad (owner) was super responsive. Gym has a lot of equipment scattered around. It’s not a fancy building, but the equipment is nice, facilities work well, and patrons are personable.
Goleta Valley Athletic Club - Goleta
Siljander Tristan (Trisysiljander): I’ve enjoyed coming here for the past year and a half it is always very clean and the staff is very nice, not to mention it’s the only gym in Goleta where you don’t have to wait for equipment would highly recommend
BODYROK Pilates Santa Barbara - Santa Barbara
Nicola Kundanmal: I took one of my first Pilates classes at Bodyrok SB over the holidays and it was definitely a push and so much fun! I arrived early and the gal at the front desk chatted with me a lot and was super friendly. Kiara was the instructor for the class and I mentioned to her I was new to Pilates so she took time to demonstrate how to adjust the machines and go over the class structure before the class began, which was really helpful. She provided clear modifications to make things both easier and more challenging and asked everyone about injuries as well. She gave a lot of specific feedback during the class, both positive and constructive, which made the class feel really personal and productive. The level is definitely challenging but the modification suggestions really help tailor it to anyone’s level. I took the “six packs and backs” class which also had a small quad and glute section in it too, so it felt really balanced. The classes are smaller and fill up super fast so definitely recommend booking them in advance. I got off the waitlist. Looking forward to doing more Pilates with Bodyrok!
    The Void - Santa Barbara
Patrick Ma: Easily hands down the best private gym in Santa Barbara with 24/7 key access and the most experienced and knowledgeable trainers you can find! High quality rogue machines, heavy dumbbells up to 150lbs and best thing you never have to wait for any machines to open up!
Fit Buddha Fitness - Santa Barbara
Heather Kennedy: Wonderful studio with friendly and knowledgeable instructors! Marcus and his team have cultivated a community where everyone gets a great workout and feels welcome the moment they walk into the studio! Classes are varied and always challenging!
Montecito Family YMCA - Santa Barbara
Lug Nugget: Montecito YMCA is a very welcoming community, especially for people new to fitness. I just started my fitness journey there, and the staff were inviting and encouraging during every visit. Ive started swimming there, and the lifeguards were friendly and attentive. I was a little discouraged with my fitness journey after exhausting myself with a few laps across the pool, but the lifeguard on duty encouraged me and reminded me that everyone goes at their own pace. Its about the journey not the performance :)
AM | FITNESS - Santa Barbara
ElizaBeth Alexander: Amina is one of my favorite trainers in Santa Barbara. She pushes me out of my comfort zone into developing new skills and building my strength, and does it with a smile, a ton of love and all while keeping it fun. Amina has helped me build my confidence. Her space is absolutely beautiful-I dont even feel like Im in a gym! In addition to enjoying training with her one-one-one, I love taking classes (including the yoga) in her space... she attracts kind, thoughtful and fun people and I love the community.
    Lilley Fitness - Santa Barbara
Alma Arvidsson: Incredible, amazing, warmht, joy, powerful, welcoming, I can go on forever, there is not enough words do describe this gym, this community that Erika has created, from scratch. However, for me this is not just a gym, for me this is where I feel safe, seen and at ease, going to this gym is my mindfullness, my therapy, its my safe space, this is where I see my family. Moving abroad alone without my family, and becoming a member of Lilley Fitness is the best decision I ever made. Every class is giving me the best energy. Erika is an incredible coach and mentor and has helped me to become the best athlete I have ever been. She believes in you and make you believe in yourself. I took one step inside this gym and I instantly knew that I would NEVER want to leave. You want to become a member of the Lilley Fitness family, I promise, you will not regret it.
