5 /5 Mary Lundberg: This store is the mecca for vintage jewelry! There’s a wide assortment of sterling silver, estate and beautiful costume jewelry. The prices are fair and reasonable. It’s a collective, with six ladies, each with their own style of offerings! They are always friendly and helpful in finding the right gift or treat to myself. Lots of pictures and decorative vintage items as well. Best shop in downtown Santa Cruz by far!!

5 /5 Elizabeth G: I love this little antique shop in downtown Santa Cruz On the Pacific Garden Mall. There are so many cool antique and vintage treasures. Numerous styles of vintage jewelry to choose from. I favor the Victorian lockets and Native American silver jewelry. And theres a great selection of sterling silver and gold rings. Lots of kitschy and fun memorabilia of so many types as well. Every time I come in I find newly added things and its always quite fun to look around and see what’s there! A great place to buy unusual gifts.

5 /5 Spencer W: Miss Jessie Mays is such an awesome treasure in downtown Santa Cruz! It is one of the few places left in downtown town Santa Cruz that still has that unique classic Santa Cruz charm. They are a goldmine for vintage/antique treasure hunting! From vintage postcards to jewelry, cuff links, trinkets, antique zippos and other cool classic lighters... Jessie Mays has some of the coolest and most unique selection I have found! If you are a collector of cool vintage and antique items, do yourself a favor and hit this spot up if youre anywhere near Santa Cruz!

Amy Ryan: Went with a few friends and the clerk followed us around immediately. We were just browsing and not doing anything abnormal. Most everything is locked up so I dont understand why he was following us around. Also there is a sign that you cant flip through books without buying first. That was strange and uninviting. Overall there is a good selection and really pretty crystals but there was an uncomfy vibe and I think you all should have my feedback. I dont want to bring a small business rating down so just rating 4 stars .

Dana Orlando: We LOVE Mark Areias Jewelers in both Aptos and Carmel! My husband and I both got our wedding rings here... 25 years ago! He had his custom made and it still looks amazing. I chose mine from their estate collection at the time. It was simple and beautiful and in our budget at the time but I always imagined building it up at some point. We were finally able to do that around our 15th anniversary and it is now even more beautiful!! The jeweler crafted my ring exactly as I described (and drew out) to them. Weve also gotten some pearl earrings and another estate piece here over the years. They always take care of their customers... they treat us like family. We often stop in to have our wedding rings cleaned professionally by them and they always look like new again :-)
