1 /5 Danielle Huezo: I took my twin girls in to get their ears pierced for the first time and one lady did a great job making us feel welcome and assuring us that we were well informed. She said that they do both ear piercings at the same time so two employees would be piercing at the same time. When they did my first daughter, everything went great. Both piercings were aligned well and they looked perfect. But when it came time to do my second daughter, one of the girls didn’t hold the piercing device correctly, leaving my daughter in pain and piercing her ear at an angle downward. The back of the earring was coming out of the back tip of her earlobe, so the back of the earring was clearly visible from the front side. I had to remove the earring altogether and I am letting it heal and will be taking her somewhere else to get it redone. It really is a shame that you think that you are going to someone experienced, someone that has been trained correctly, considering that they pierce on anyone 6 months of age and older, and you end up with a horrible piercing on your child and feeling guilty for allowing someone with such little experience to pierce your child.
