3 /5 Tai Theguy: I cant offer much of a review. I approached the front door. It was locked and wouldnt open. But there were 2 employees chatting just behind the counter. I looked around inside, and saw barren cases and shelves. Not a coin in sight, from the door. I saw a mock jail setup, with bars enclosing half the store, but that area was also empty. I was interested in buying a few items but didnt really see... Anything. But i was wearing a backpack, and could have just as easily had a pound of gold and 10 pounds of silver i wanted to sell. Between the empty "jail", empty cases, and employees ignoring me peering through their front door on a bright sunny day, it did not feel at all inviting, so i decided not to knock, and just left and went to the next LCS. Didnt have much luck there either.
I assume like the 2nd store i visited, they either sell online, or at coin shows. And it is very much a sellers market rn (demand outpacing supply). So, thats where i go/will go. Got sum crazy deals sniping auctions on ebay. Will attend upcoming shows to see how it goes haggling with cash and no tax
Hopefully I can find someone to buy my grandpas old 1933 $20 liberty coin. I remember him saying it was rare
