    David Anderson: INCOMPETENCE: I took two watches that were in operating condition except for needing new batteries to this shop. I asked for the batteries to be replaced. When the watches were brought back to me, one had the stem used to adjust the time and date jammed in place and immovable. I was informed the other watch would not work even with a new battery. The second watch was given to me with the back cover taped to the watch because the cover would not reattach. So I took the watches to a store down the street called Jewelry Repair Newport Beach. The owner/operator is Swiss trained. He quickly diagnosed the problems caused by the Tustin Jewelry Mart and fixed them for a reasonable price. Moral of the story: Don’t take a watch to the Tustin Jewelry Mart for battery replacement or repair. My experience is they don’t know what they are doing and may well break what isn’t broken.

    Amanda Morgan: My husband I and went looking for a 10 year anniversary piece. Pasha Jewelers was our first stop. We met with Sandy- and she was patient, honest and incredibly knowledgeable. When we expressed she was our first stop there was zero pressure. She was confident we would be back (because she knew she was offering the best quality and price). We went and did our due diligence and yes, I ended up coming back. Sandy was so eager to offer a level a customer service that would win my business for years to come, and she succeeded. Ive received so many compliments on my ring and I absolutely love it! She even helped me with my existing rings and went above and beyond helping bring those piece back to life. We will be happy returning customers!!!

    Tam Do: Okay, so I had a vision for a ring. It was peculiar. A little weird, and definitely a tricky custom job. I was fully expecting to get some strange looks when I described it, but the team at South Coast Jeweler was completely unfazed. The owner and jeweler took on my little project and treated it like a proper collaboration. It felt less like a retail transaction and more like we were just working on a project together. They listened to my ideas, added their own professional input, and the result was a ring that turned out even better than I had pictured. They got it right. And it was finished on time. Also, their diamond selection is surprisingly good. The quality and prices were definitely better than what I was finding after spending way too much time looking online. So, if you have a unique idea and want it done correctly, this is a solid place to go. Highly recommend. custom-made.

    Miriam Mendoza: My parents and family friends had always purchased items for special occasions at Teresas. Which is why when we baptized our goddaughter I knew exactly where we needed to go. It was a good thing we were baptizing in California, since we moved to Wyoming in 2008. I had texted a picture of the beautiful necklace and pendant Enrique and Teresa had helped us pick out to a friend and she loved it! Flash forward to last year, this friend started planning for her daughters Quinceañera. I knew right away I wanted to be her sponsor for her necklace/pendant. I asked my sister to please go, take pictures and purchase for us. When we received the items I thought the bottom of the pendant was scratched/scuffed up. I called the store and spoke with Teresa who immediately offered to help getting it taken care of. I mailed out the items and the entire team helped get things taken care if. The pendant was not scratched/scuffed it turns out the angel below the Virgin Mary was a different color and that was why it looked that way. Enrique and Nancy helped take care of things, polishing and getting the pendant to look just as we wanted. Overall it was a great experience, even though we were in a completely different state!

    Kimberly Chavarria: I’ve been a loyal customer with Daniel’s for years, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of one of the staff members, Tina. I understand that this is a retail environment and that sales are a part of the job, but the level of pressure and pushiness I experienced was beyond unacceptable. Tina was overly aggressive in her sales tactics. She told my partner—inaccurately and without my consent that I had been approved for $5,000 in credit and that he could pick anything he wanted in the store. It was incredibly inappropriate and misleading. Even more concerning, she ran my credit with another bureau without my permission. That kind of action should never happen without clear and informed consent from the customer. Throughout the interaction, she continued to push me toward items well outside of my stated budget and handled another clients simultaneously, which made the service feel rushed and careless. Her approach lacked professionalism and respect for personal boundaries. I hope Daniel’s takes customer feedback seriously and ensures that all staff members prioritize ethical and respectful sales practices. I would never go to this location ever again.
