5 /5 Michael Harris: Kevin (owner) and Jeff (trainer) lead small group classes Monday through Saturday, for a half hour each, several times per day. If you are not the usual gym "type," I promise this is the gym for you.
The clientele are the nicest people in Napa, and range from high school athletes to grandparents. Workouts are intense, but short. Kevin and Jeff do a great job of accommodating and tracking each persons individual needs and abilities.
They encourage you to attend a few sessions for free to see if it is a fit. There is no pressure at all to join. I think I worked out for four days before signing up. After only two months I can say that my membership at KO Performance is the best value over price out of anything I currently spend money on.
After two weeks I noticed unmistakable results from head to toe. Now two months in I can say I am truly amazed by my new body. I work out for 1/2 hour per day 6 days per week, which is only three hours per week.
As far as diet, I have been loosely adhering to Tim Ferriss slow carb diet, which has worked well for me. My rule is I dont buy any junk food at all when I grocery shop, but I eat free donuts at work whenever they are offered.
Bottom line: Great staff, family atmosphere, no judgement, free trials, amazing value, you should check them out.
