Details of the Issue:
• I attempted to cancel my membership 30 days in advance, but the business’s application repeatedly malfunctioned and prevented cancellation.
• A representative at the counter advised me to try again after my last payment posted.
• I attempted cancellation again before the next payment date, but the system forced me to remain active for another 30 days, effectively locking me into another billing cycle.
• This practice contradicts their advertised “month-to-month, no commitment” model and instead functions like a contract designed to keep members paying.
Health and Safety Concerns:
• The club’s sanitary conditions were unacceptable. There were no disinfectant wipes available, equipment and restrooms were not being cleaned, and no visible cleaning staff were present.
• Both my spouse and I contracted COVID-19 after visiting the facility, which raises serious concerns about their lack of proper sanitation protocols.
Your company must have greater accountability regarding sanitation practices to protect current and future members. Stop false advertising you are month to month and keeping people in a contract copy business model.
