5 /5 Alicia Wallace: Love this local shop! I came in to have my wedding ring and engagement band soldered together. He kept it for a couple of days and I came back to a perfectly attached ring and it was cleaned and polished. I was nervous to leave my ring but it was kept perfectly and safe and in better shape than I left it. Very reasonably priced, professional, quality work and happy to support a local business.

5 /5 Roberta Sutton: Resized my grandmother’s ring and added an inscription on the inside, next to hers. They also have an incredible collection on antique coins and are lovely enough to talk my then 4 year old through them and let him hold one. Amazing place that adds to the whole neighborhood. Small and easy to overlook on busy Newport, but one of my family’s favorites.

5 /5 Lindsay Francis: Always fun options in wide price ranges. You can get beautiful earrings for $35 or easily spend $$$ on custom jewelry or quality options. Had several pieces repaired for low prices.

5 /5 Zachary Nielsen: They repaired my wife’s diamond earring post that had lost its thread for the backings. They included cleaning and polishing with the repair and they came out looking brand new! Highly skilled and reasonably priced. It’s the kind of place where you can bring any jewelry repair in and they’ll look at it and help you if they can or give you advice. Highly recommend.

2 /5 Mariah Ortiz: Been here a few times and unfortunately have not left thrilled on any occasion. My watches that I brought in for battery replacement died within a year which surprised me as the watches were pretty new. Besides that, I recently went in with a brand new watch because I was hoping they could help me set up the time and adjust the length (it’s digital, and I thought I needed to remove extra chain pieces). The repairman there adjusted the length in 2 seconds, let me know that the links cannot be removed, and then set the time for me 30 seconds later. I expressed my gratitude for the quick fix and turned to leave when he said, “I normally charge for this” and I said, “oh, my bad! How much do I owe?” And to my shock he said $15. For 1 minute of work. I couldn’t believe it. It should’ve been free (he literally could’ve just taught me how to adjust the time for $0) and once he saw my shock he should’ve at least been like “5 bucks.” I love shopping small and supporting local businesses but geez, not after this. Sorry!
