5 /5 Eli Blanco: Great place, very nice people, clean machines, not too busy, easy 5 stars.
5 /5 O A: Do you need to get in shape? Do you need motivation and a routine that is never a routine ? This is the place. Fitness MD has a cult like following and for good reason because its accessable for everyone. All you have to do is show up. In two months my strength, endurance and speed have all increased
5 /5 Raul M: Absolutely amazing place ! Trainers are too notch. Very knowledgeable and incredibly respectful. Never the same workout twice. You’ll get fit and laugh while doing it. Evening trainers are hilarious. All the child care girls are amazing. Very friendly. And very patient.
Members are all great people as well.
You really can’t beat the class environment and family atmosphere.
5 /5 Angie Counts,Realtor: There is no other gym like it. I have been going to FMD for 3 years now and I love it. The trainers and the classes are amazing. A little over a year ago I had back surgery and was out for a bit. David, not only checked on me, but when I came back he ensured I was doing things correctly. He modifies exercises and helps correct me. I am thankful for FMD!
I even moved out of the area and continue to come.
Ian Webb: I am a member at Lifetime Folsom, and this review is for both the Folsom and Roseville locations.
For the last month, the sauna at Folsom has been unavailable. I use the sauna daily, and it is one of the primary reasons I maintain my membership. In my opinion, Lifetime offers the best saunas in the area, which is why this ongoing closure is especially frustrating.
When one of two nearby clubs removes a key amenity that members are actively paying for, those members should be allowed to utilize the same amenity at the other location until service is restored. Or given some money back, either one.
I am paying a premium membership rate, and I expect the services included in that membership to be consistently available. If they are not, there should be some form of adjustment or accommodation until members are receiving everything they were promised.
On top of that, the “upgrade” policy that was explained to me today—specifically, the fact that members are no longer allowed to use other facilities as they previously could—adds another layer of disappointment. If I am not permitted to use the other local club, then the services I am paying for at my home club should either be fully operational or temporarily provided at an alternative location without additional barriers or cost.
At this price point, anything less feels unacceptable.
I explained this all to a woman at the front desk this morning. And after some serious convincing, I was granted a one-day use of the palace. But her sympathy didnt stretch beyond that as she said, "Next time, youre upgrading."
Integrated Tactics: The Toseville Blue Oaks 24hr Fitness has provided the best gym experience around. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The gym is cleaned constantly. I have never had a problem with finding equipment to use. My trainer, Marshawn, keeps my goals in mind when planning our training sessions. I appreciate all the do for the benefit of their members.
Heather + Steve Ostrom: Tasha is awesome and so much of the In-Shape staff are amazing - this is my primary reason for a five-star review. The rest of the place is 3.5-4 stars. So be good to your workers, they really make you shine, ISF owners. I also think its a friendly crowd that comes to this gym. I like a lot of options sprinkled throughout to wipe down and clean machines. One of the must-haves in a gym is good A/C and being cooler - and this place fits the tab (but be warned oh sweet sweaty fools and perimenopausal women, the fans are off occasionally during their rehab going on right now. I dont recall that being disclosed when we signed up a short while ago). The variety of machines is nice - it varies from newer machines to machines that are possibly past their prime (but a lot of nice options for cardio machines, free weight zones, and regular machines - I dig it). My biggest complaint is In-Shape definitely need to expedite repair time on popular / higher-use machines. The front desk and the folks they hire is the main reason its five stars. In-Shape Fitness Roseville folks, I know this layout is temporary, but please have some women lean in on the layout of certain machines and where they are and what theyre facing (please).
David Luty: This use to be a nice with quality equipment , let me tell you this place
Is becoming trash all bike don’t work properly bathrooms always dirty and this means unhealthy.
Lots of times I see empty paper towel and I can remember your
Maintenance list to take care of this place have not seen him and sometime. I will search for a new membership as a new team facility due to improper and four quality equipment..
Nadejda Voronina, DDS: My review:
The gym recently changed the lighting in the workout area from classic white light to a multi-color setup (orange, yellow, blue). This lighting is extremely bright and causes migraines, tearing, and disorientation, especially due to the reflection from the floor. I tried to communicate my concerns to the staff, but their response was that this lighting is permanent. At this point, I am planning to cancel my membership.
