Dell Williams has an amazing selection of designer jewelry as well as a large home goods selection including tons of Annieglass. It is my go-to place to shop for wedding gifts. The staff is always very warm and welcoming! Last time I was in, I learned they are celebrating their 95th anniversary this year!! Wow!

Jessica Kille: Their jewelry is beautiful, no doubt. But the customer service was so disappointing. I bought $100 earrings that had a design flaw. When I brought them back 2 weeks later they tried to charge me for the repair. There are local artists who will bend over backwards to stand behind their product. Please look them up and go there. 6/2/25 Appreciate that you care enough about one customer to have such a kind response.

Salt Jewelry Studio & Gift Store - Santa Cruz

Ruth Ann Barrett: Must visit this shop in Santa Cruz. Sarah is top notch jewelry designer as well as a collector of objets dart which are not necessarily very pricey but you value for their beauty and craftsmanship. In addition to earrings I bought some wonderful Japanese incense, a small Asian inspired round wooden box with cover for my smaller earrings I wear frequently, and a long necklace to dress up some plain T’s I wear in the summer. I spent a good bit of time in the shop and enjoyed the conversation with Sarah as she re-strung one of her necklaces I inadvertently broke and which was a gift from a friend. Here are some pics of my “finds.” It took an hour to drive from the East Bay to enjoy the day at the beach to include, of course, a visit at the Salt Jewelry studio and then lunch!

I get people loving the delicatness of the swan shape and other people just commenting on how badass they look. They somehow appeal to every time of person. By far my best jewelry pieces.

Amy Ryan: Went with a few friends and the clerk followed us around immediately. We were just browsing and not doing anything abnormal. Most everything is locked up so I dont understand why he was following us around. Also there is a sign that you cant flip through books without buying first. That was strange and uninviting. Overall there is a good selection and really pretty crystals but there was an uncomfy vibe and I think you all should have my feedback. I dont want to bring a small business rating down so just rating 4 stars .

Dana Orlando: We LOVE Mark Areias Jewelers in both Aptos and Carmel! My husband and I both got our wedding rings here... 25 years ago! He had his custom made and it still looks amazing. I chose mine from their estate collection at the time. It was simple and beautiful and in our budget at the time but I always imagined building it up at some point. We were finally able to do that around our 15th anniversary and it is now even more beautiful!! The jeweler crafted my ring exactly as I described (and drew out) to them. Weve also gotten some pearl earrings and another estate piece here over the years. They always take care of their customers... they treat us like family. We often stop in to have our wedding rings cleaned professionally by them and they always look like new again :-)
