Michael, who oversees the shop has vast knowledge of his inventory as well as estate jewelry. I would highly recommend him to everyone. Also, he has a great personality to go along with his knowledge! I feel looking for estate jewelry info can contact Calhoun whether or not they live in the Carmel area. You wont be disappointed!

I have acquired a beautiful collection over the years and they are the only place I would consider spending significant amounts of money on jewelry because I trust them implicitly. When my fiancé, now husband, and I became engaged in 2004 we came to Carmel to select a ring. When it was ready we arrived at the boutique to find that Alex and Peter had called my grandmother (who lived in Pebble Beach and was also a customer) and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate our engagement. I cannot speak highly enough about them.

    Brandon Davis: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - Went here for a watch battery replacement after they opened, but the door was still locked. There was a lady inside who saw me, acknowledged me, and then went into the back office, presumably to get someone else, leaving me standing outside for several minutes, so I left. Would it have been too much trouble to open the door to let a customer wait inside, or better yet, be open and available for customers during the times you advertise? Very sketchy business practice and poor customer service. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. The business may respond to this with an excuse as to why they did what they did - it doesn’t matter. There is no excuse. Customers should not be treated this way, and customers that value their time should take their business to one of the many other better and more reputable watch repair shops in Monterey.

    Diane Shaw: I strolled into Maui Fine Jewelry at Carmel and was taken by the gorgeous jewelry! Ly was so warm and fun to work with. I bought a pair of diamond earrings and later returned with my husband and we also purchased a gorgeous ring! I only wish I could go back to buy all my jewelry from them!!! The prices were fair and she did not try to sell me, in fact she steered me towards items that looked better for me but cost less. Maybe its worth another vacation!! Go see Ly!!
